Why r u worried abut tdlkar alone?? hw woudl u consider him to be an average player now..take the records of indian batsmen in the past 10- 15 matches in that case and compare... sachin in his last 20 innings did..930 runs at an average of 46.5,mind it 46.5!!!!!!! an average of more than an average player compaing internationally ! dhoni made 708 in his last 20innings at an average of 35.4. Yuvi made 666 frmo his last 20 innings at an average of 33.4 ganguly mean whiel made 696 from his last 20innings at an average of 34.8.
Hope u guys have theeyes to see this wothout a biased attitude and understadn where u;r ugly mindset is takin u to ! u ppl has shut the door for saurav who had been a prolific opener along with sachin ..adn nw u want to push sachin out who is stil the best performing batsmen for india !!!!!!! yeah may be he became an average player frmo his HIGH STANDARDS but stil he is above his teammates such that no one can replac ehim even considering his present scorin rate ..!! understand and talk guys !!

What's the point ? They blame Sachin because they are jealous of him. Simply because their heroes like Ganguly and Dravid have been kicked out of the team, whereas Sachin stays in the team as long as he wants, and comes back into the team whenever he wants without even any fitness tests.
Well, to start with I am discussing on who is India’s best 'test batsman'. There may be many names coming up.nut top three have been sunil gavaskar sachin tendulkar rahul dravid in any order. I will talk only about 2. sachin and rahul. I have seen many people posting and saying dravid is the best test player for india. Well, I disagree.
I think its just a fasion or a belief created by the stupid media,especially channels which started after 2003 world cup. [What could be the reason for this? I believe its just because sachin had the tennis elbow problem when dravid peaked and the media channels fought for supremacy. At that time they saw dravid and ponting scoring and sachin not playing. They didn't analyze the bowling attacks which were Getting weaker and weaker. After that Dhobi stormed into the scene. So let us analyze using some stats. Please don’t take this as manipulation of stats. I think the period of 90s where Wasim-Waqar,Shane-Mcgrath-Lee-Mcdermott,Walsh-ambrose,Murali-vaas,hadlee-cairns,ETC ruled were more tough for batsmen than post 2003 were W-W-Walsh-ambrose retired. lets use some stats now.

THE PERIOD OF TENNIS ELBOW.
Sachin did not play any game from APRIL 2005 to December 2005 owing to injury and surgery.
1 DEC 2005-31 JAN 2007.

This is a period where he struggled with his form and injury. It is not easy for a batsman to come back to form after some 1 week rest,let alone tennis elbow.
Then we saw the world cup debacle which the media celebrated and targeted sachin. They had found a new brand-DHOBI. So they targeted dravid and sourav too. But the 2007 WC was a collective failure and greg chappel holds max responsibility for that as he tried to impose himself on the team. After that INDIA went to Bangladesh without a coach.
1 May 2007-PRESENT
This period saw Sachin roaring back to form and saw him even regaining the top spot in ODIs.He is now no:2 in ODis and 14[highest indian] in tests.

Well Cricket is a failed sport. 10-11 nations play cricket and out of those nations India,pak,sri lanka and pakistan are third world nations who have more than 70% of their population below poverty line
So what is the global attention India has got out of cricket?
Cricket takes away entire day of an Indian and this accounts to losses to the Nation.
India has got some success in Cricket but if u check the overall winning rate of Team India its not even 50%.So what has India acheived?
Football is global sport and people argue India cant play Football but I can tell u safely India can win football world cup but for that India has to be ruled by Germans or any European country for next 200 years
We always learn when we are forced or we learn from others who are successful and we will never dare to attempt till we dont see success in the venture..Success by someone else
So B..Indians wake up and realize that CRICKET,SACHIN,DHONI all r hyped and just made money for themselves and u have gained nothing

Ever heard of Barry Bonds? There are many in India who track his exploits & almost all news channels had covered his hitting the record no of home runs. USA is the only country where Barry Bonds plays & baseball too is not played with any fervour anywhere in the world. Does this make his achievements any less? Do you prefer that the entire country keeps working all the time rather than watching cricket? Do you know how boring our lives would be? Remember the Outlook 1998 year end edition? It featured Sachin with a caption, 'In an year of gloom, this man brought us something to cheer'.

IF OTHER NATIONS DONT PLAY THE GAME IT BECOMES A NON SPORT??EVEN CHINA AND OTHER NATIONS R TRYING TO GAIN INTERNATIONAL STATUS FOR CRICKET..IF ONLY FEW GUYS LANDED ON MOON THEN U WILL SAY ITS NO BIG DEAL TO GO THERE COZ FEW NATIONS DONT EVEN TRY TO GO THERE??I THINK EITHER U R A KID OR MENTALLY NOT SOUND..WE DONT DEPEND ON EUROPE OR USA TO KNOW WHAT IS GOOD AND WHATS NOT..
