Lets see what action BCCI Takes against Sachin Tendulkar For Playing with Dinesh Mongia.

While BCCI is not allowing Laxman to play in England for some english counties only because this counties has some ICL Cricketers then it is interesting to see what is does with Sachin Tendulkar.I think there should not be any Restriction on Players to play with the ICL players but if it is it should be same for all cricketer whether it is Sachin or Laxman ,Chawala

The question is - had the BCCI issued it's diktat at the time when Sachin played with Mongia for Lashings? If the answer is no, then the BCCI cannot take action against Sachin.

BCCI IS STARTED BEHAVING LIKE IHF SUPERMAN GILL.It seems that the spirit of Gill has entered in Sharad Power and is henchman's body. The same time BCCI show their good gesture and honouring Kapil Dev and his world cup winning team .Among them a few are with ICL and warning the player not to play with ICL player. This shows how much undemocratic attitude of Mr.Power and his people. This happen only in India due to these elite people of society who feel they are super citizen of India. Why this duelity is still prevailing in India where the Zaminderi has been abolished long ago.

Who elected the BCCI? Who or what gave this board the right to take cricket-related decisions on our behalf? In all the years I have been following cricket, I have not any recollection of any such event...

What next? Will the BCCI ban require signed affidavits from spectators assuring that they have never watched any ICL match, even on TV?

Also, what is stopping players associated with the ICL, from taking legal action against the BCCI for banning them?

BCCI -vs- 'THE REBELS'
by keshavmurthy on Jul 26, 2008 12:59 PM

I believe that it is time someone puts some sense into the nuts of the BCCI blokes. Who gives them the right to decide the fates of cricketers across the world? What makes them feel that they own the game in India? Who are they to tell the other teams what they should be or not be doing? There are two ways to tackle the presumed 'hegemony' of BCCI: drag this greedy and over-ambitious body to the court of law and let a decision be taken at that forum; or, alternatively, all the cricket playing nations should blacklist BCCI and refuse to play against their teams. There was a reference made to the Courts earlier seeking clarification whether BCCI's team represents the country. I wonder what happened to that reference. In short, BCCI is not crowning itself with glory with their stupid stances.

So its teh BCCI who will decide with whom Sachin will play???

That means if any of sachin plays with any school kids at some school function and if Kapil is its Chief guest... then BCCI will take action....

I think BCCI is acting like a small baby... cha... Shame... that this organization is representing INDIA for the World cricket

bcci..what has happened to them
by Rahul Saraf on Jul 26, 2008 12:27 PM  | Hide replies

me and even many others dont have a clue that why is BCCI still scared of ICL..BCCI's IPL was a huge success and they minted millions and surely ICL wont coz any damage to them in terms of revenue. They should rather be happy about the talent that ICL is creating for Indian cricket. Its time for BCCI to stop using its power to do such ridiculous things and stop other boards including ICC to force ICL out. Common BCCI, its time u make sense of the decisions u take and if u dont, then restrict Sachin from playing any international cricket. One rule should apply to all

I think BCCI is bringing back the culture of "UNTOUCHABLE". We should stop this. I think all Indian players should boycott this move by the BCCI.

for BCCi, these indian players like kapil etc are untouchables; dont play, dont talk, dont meet/mingle, dont discuss with/among ICL players. If possible label them are traitors of indian cricket. After all they were not not servants of india but of BCCI the company.
