don’t understand the whole saga of Pakistan has to forego the Champions Trophy in September due to security fears from certain cricket playing nations. Well if we look at recent past there have been terriorist attacks in India, Sri Lanka and England and that has not affected cricket schedules in these countries. After the recent bomb blasts in Jaipur during IPL still saw games being played in Jaipur and other centres through out IPL. None of these countries asking for change in venue namely Australia and New Zealand have cancelled their plans of playing in England and most recently Kiwi’s undertook a full tour even though London was ripped by bomb blasts not so long ago. So why have these double standards. If Pakistan is deemed as unsafe so why award such a prestegious tournament in the first place and then World Cup 2011 is not far where Pakistan is a co host…..will we see threat of boycott from these western countries again?
