Dhoni as a batsman..............
by Anurag Rathore on Jul 14, 2008 12:28 PM  | Hide replies

The maturity in Dhoni's batting in past 1 year is amazing. At recent time he is looking like M.Bevan of India. Despite of batting on no. 5,6,7 his batting average is more than 48 in ODI. He doesn't throw his wicket like sehwag.

That's Sachin impact on Dhoni's batting.

Dravid past record is very good in Srilanka. He will definitely create problem for mendis & company.
Sachin has missed two tri series, now he is also so hungry for runs. Beware Srilankans they are coming..............

I am not comparing dhoni with sachin and dravid, he has his own unique style.
I am just saying that Dhoni is following Sachin nowadays. We can always trust on Dhoni when he comes to bat like dravid despite of his bad technique.

Hello Mr truth,
In the bus from Mumbai to Hyd- two sometimes three drivers take turns to drive the bus through out the night.
But my point is, If you are worried about who is the driver and whether he is a safe driver, then you are missing your sleep and making yourself miserable. Just take it for granted that the highest authority had given you the safe drivers to take you to your destination- and he will do his Job b/c the highest authority is also concerned about your safety, and he will not do the job himself but through his representatives such as "son's" or "servants". As long as you have faith in highest as the most powerful who can change your fate(hell or heaven), then he must take care of you, without scrutinising the servants he had sent you to take you on the path. It all depends on yourself to be able to understand and realise, and not on the highest Authority, who already gave you what you deserve. Now evenif the Jesus comes back to teach and lead you again, You will not accept him as you had never seen him before and you will continue to stick to your bible and reject him in person. That is what we call, we are masked by our "samskaras" or pre-illusions. So, If you seek God, then, cut out the crap and concentrate on "The God in your heart" and leave alone the religions to fight it out for the ignorant. For God is not external but the illumination in your heart.
Good luck for your search of God and tell me if you find him -no no not the crap in Bible or the G

Lalit Modi will know the Player who has taken Drugs for Performance Enhancement, Then He will approach him and ask the Name of the Drug and COmpliment him for letting him know and He will instruct Shane Warne to give that Drug to all his Players for Next Season of IPL................................

How Steroids will Effect Performance in Cricket..............................................
by SachinTheGreat on Jul 14, 2008 11:37 AM  | Hide replies

Why not, When any Player takes Drugs or Steroids for Performance Enhancement his Stamina will automaticallt increase, If He is a Batsman his Scoring Shots will bcome Powerful, Even his mishits will go for 6er's, Even his timing will improve, Even his running between the wickets will bcome faster. If He is a Pace Bowler then his Speed will increase, He will bowl longer spells, His Stamina will improve.

If He is a Spinner then He will bowl longer spells, He will not be tired even after bowling longer spells.

Any Player who takes Performance Enhancing Drugs or Steroids should be Banned for Life..........................

Drug is not a good thing I know.
But sometime a player takes it for quick recovery from injury.
How can we know when a player taking this for enhancing performance or recovering from injury?
Let remember the Warne incident on world cup when his mom give him some medicine for quick recovery from injury.
But It doesn't mean that if Warne don't tkae drugs than he couldn't take more than 700 wicket.
I think you will understand what I am trying to say.
Not everytime a player take this for enhancing performance. If ICC banned those players for life time, some innocent will be also punished.
Before 1990 it was possible for players to take drugs. Then I think Westindies fast bowlers and other great performers record should be vanished.
Why today generation players can't take staroids if they are recovering from injury or they are physically so weak?

I am also against of drugs in any kind of sport. But I think when a player got injured, ICC should allow that player for taking drug for recovery for a short period of time.
Then innocent players will be escaped from ban.

Do Umean to say that Drugs for Performance Enhancement and Recovery are the same, Shane Warne took Direutic which will not allow a Player to Dehydrate so easily, Since Shane Warne was Dehydrated He took it that is why He was Banned only for 1 Year, If Shane Warne had taken Steroids then He would have been Banned for 5 Years Minimum.....................................................................

Then how can ICC banned a player for life time?

It depends on the Kind of Drug or Steroid, Since Shane Warne took a Direutic which Hydrates a Player and prevents him for getting Dehydrated easily it can be termed as a Recovery Drug since Shane Warne was Dehydrated or Injured and it can be also termed as mild Drug or Steroid for Performance Enhancement.

That is why He was Banned only for 1 Year and not for 5 Years.......................

the are some medicinal steriods also.
they heal/repair tissues fast.
some medicinal steriods improve immune system.
so it is not celar what type of steriod was found.

dope test was random..
by Bunty on Jul 14, 2008 11:34 AM  | Hide replies

that means the test was conducted by drawing the names randomly.
so we have to first know who all appeared for dope test during IPL.
filter out the sub continent bowlers and we can then zero on the player.
it is still not clear if asif appeared for dope test.
