PANESAR IS A LAME DUCK..HE IS MEDIA MADE/CREATED HYPE WHO IS NOTHING MORE THAN DHONI, ROHIT, UTHAPPA! ONLY SIMILARITY BETWEEN ALL PLAYERS MENTIONED ABOVE ARE THAT THEY ARE INDIANS AND OVER HYPED!

I agree on Rohit and Uthappa, but if you are talking about Dhoni, his batting tells everything, his batting average is more than 48 in ODI. Do you know any other indian player who's batting average is more than Dhoni????????/

Ganguly after his comback averagres above 50. After Dhoni became india's captain, Both Dhoni and ganguly have same batting style.

Ganguly scored their runs as an opener, on that position every batsman has chance for good batting average, but Dhoni most of the matches comes on 5,6,7. On that position average player has batting average 25-30 but dhoni batting average is more than 48.

And a person who opens the batting has less chances of staying not out where Mr.Dhoni comes down the order and finishes the innings with a not out mark which helps increasing the average......

I can tell you more than 15 openers name who's batting average is more than 40, but can you tell me the more than 15 players name who is batting on 5,6,7 and their batting average is more than 40??????

The English Media purposefully overrated Panesar because he was supposed to be the next great Ashes spinner after Shane Warne - the sort of England's answer to Warne. Panesar is just another predictable, moderately talented bowler who won't last for more than 2-3 years before being dropped.
