Arjuna was shown on TV and sad expression-less despite the fact his team was fairing well in the finals. Now that explains it, if India had won he could have deducted their pay cheques...very good leader but,a very poor administrator...

Get your facts right. Dravid is the best test player of india. He has been selected to play a 5 day game and not to bat for 5 mins at crease like the current juniors .
Dravid, Sachin and SAurav are needed to stabilize the indian ship at the srilankan coast which has a new armor Mendis !!!

Dravid is one of only three( I think I am cirrect) cricketers to have score over 10000 runs in both forms of cricket. Dont write him off just like that
If the above mentioned news is to be believed then one finds that its ridiculous that cricketers have not been paid since february.Hope srilankan board will do some thing amicable & it will bring smile on every ones face.India tour will be on & every one enjoys the healthy battle between Sachin & Murali.Arjuna & Duleep being players themselves in the past will definitely do the things that will rejuvenate the players & inspire them to perform .Hope that every thing falls in its right place & every body connected with cricket enjoys the forthcoming tour.
Despite such low remuneration and not having been paid for long they are playing so well.Indians on the other hand are the highest paid and yet fail miserably at least in the finals.Disgraceful.We need to add tough clauses too in their contracts now that we have such abundance of players.

Thats the reason they Play. When you get paid, You dont work. Until YOu get pay, the work is going fine. some lesson for BCCI :)

I accept SL won Asia cup but think few weeks before. they were totally walloped in Australia and india beaten them more then thrice. Why even before finals they are beaten badly. 7/10 times when india will win against SL and SL still purely depends on Jayasuria..
A single indian cricketer gets more money(including the advt fees) than all of the lankan players combined....but still the Lankans always had an upper hand in crucial match situations against India. And the point to be noted is that many nations prefer to play India in the finals of tournaments bcoz we give up easily without a fight.........
