heartless
by Cric Fan on Jul 11, 2008 01:03 PM

These CAB guys are heartless. They probably spend more in one of their lunches than these guys (all put together) monthly income. This is why Naxalites and commies get popular here... unsympathetic & heartless management.

So much for a poor man to feed his family....
by Arvin Bali on Jul 10, 2008 11:39 AM

India's cricket bodies are filled with money upto their noses and who did they choose to contract out, the poor little fellow known as the "Groundsmen" who probably has no fat contracts to survive and be able to feed his children. Those morons sitting in the airconditioned offices probably spend more money on "lunches and dinners" than these poor people get paid for a whole month to feed their family. Wake up people, is this the world we are going to live in, where a poor person can't even make a decent living, where as some of these people at the cricket board spend crores of rupees on things that an average person can't even dream of. I can understand how they must be feeling. Booooooooo!!!!!to the guys who are doing this......

So much for privatization
by Harinder Singh Mehbub on Jul 10, 2008 06:49 AM

We are blood suckers. We mix pebbles in our daal. We mix mobile with our edible oil. And we think privatizing everything will solve India's problem. We have to develop some collective morality first.

We have teachers surviving on Rs.26/-, we have "workers" living practically without wages, poor people butchered (remember Nandigram), farmers starving...what else can happen in the "socialist" heaven - Is this Communist utopia ?

They are better of killing themselves then hold entire state by ransom via strikes and agitations. Wait till Mamta "mad dog" creates a spoilsport. It takes a drop of hat in Bengal for an agitation and Rediff will be spearheading this coverage.

Why are Indian always so bloody melodramatic???
by Vinay Kumar on Jul 10, 2008 02:06 AM  | Hide replies

A few years ago, Indian businessmen threatened to go on a hunger strike in Edison,NJ because of some silly local ordinances (I think the town was against steel gates or something).

Others burn themselves alive in protest, now groundsmen threatening suicide. We've become laughing stocks.
