Ganguli out from Champion trophy
by Gandhi on Jul 13, 2008 06:17 AM

He may be ignored from Champion trophy, but this guy is real champion. Hope to see him play well in tests in ODI's. I am very sure he will play well and make way for himself once again in ODI's.

Haroon Lorgat (ICC Chief) - how childish he is for that pristine post!
by computer learning on Jul 11, 2008 10:43 PM

From Cricinfo.com - regarding ci-icc/content/current/story/360694.html, what is the origin of Haroon Lorgat (the new ICC chief executive)? Does he have a south asian origin? His comments are childish for the post he holds. Which era does he belong to when Cricinfo reported he says: "My folks always told me to be careful because money is the root of all evil. ..." When would a person holding such a pristine position in one of the leading games in the world understand "Money is *not* *the* root of all evil - rather the emotion of having plenty of money is a root of all evil - Hindu book Gita says too, so does Christian Bible too". The holy books mention that "well managed money" is perfectly fine - rather an essential ingredient - for the mankind growth. Teach Haroon Lorgat that. Forward these comments to him. Include your valuable comments too.

Dada and Jammy should have been included in the probables 30 men team for Champions trophy
They deserve to play in the team. What a shame that they have been ignored.

Dada's best is now

I had predicted the Dada bashing of his detractors in 2007. Now I can foresee it happening even bigger way in 2008 in tests and IPL as he has started training determinedly in Eden Gardens. Dhoni and his team was ugly in losing the final and definitely I do not support the need of sacrificing nations pride for money fixing. Real cricket is Tests.
It is for the nation that you slog for 5 days and not for money dhoni

And Dhoni should forget his 'Fast bowler Rascal Advertisements' and perform on the field in 450 over tests instead of getting tired after 20-20 and 50-50 and losing one tri series final to Younis Khan (31) and Asia cup final to Jayasuriya (39). SHAME

Dada the great.
by VASEEQUE AHMED on Jul 09, 2008 07:00 PM  | Hide replies

Now also Indian selectors had done big mistake to ignore Sourav Ganguly. We Indians very well known that he is one of the best captain in world history cricket till now also. In his captain period, he only given chance to youngsters like Sehwag,Yuvraj,Kaif,Zaheer,Harbhajan and even Dhoni also. But now he is not permanent in indian team. It is fairable. Now also If BCCI has appoint sourav as captain means definitely he would have win asia cup, champions trophy, world cup also. Don't forgot that under Ganguly captaincy we have enter the final consistency 13 to 15 matches win in world cup 2003 and also his captaincy only we have won Natwest series 2002 in a cruicial stage chasing at 326. But now Dhoni captaincy in the final stages they are not getting atleast 230 runs. But finally he will under fire runs in coming Srilanka series. Pls wait and see. Dada the Great.

Yuvraj dropped? Dravid and ganguly are ignored for champion trophy....
by Anurag Rathore on Jul 09, 2008 03:31 PM

Big mistake by selectors, I think in absence of Dhoni Yuvraj should be included in the team. Dravid and ganguly are ignored for champion trophy that doesn't effect the team India performance in ODI. We have enough replacement for these guys.

Ganguly is a Total Waste

Ganguly can be removed permanently. But Dravid can be retained. Ganguly is a liability and not a team player.

Oh really, i think you just can digest or judge another legacy and leadership skills, first try to gain some knowledge about cricket then write anything,,,,you want to say that a total waste gives you many success, runs, and many match winning partership with sachin tendulkar,,,hey just get lost..

you should be the President of India and sholuld take all the decision
A person who has changed the face of indian Cricket is not a team player. A person who Always think about the Indian cricket is a liablity.
Its intersing
will you tell us who is the team man in the history of indian cricket better than Ganguly
