dravid, ganguli, sehwag and al record makers in our team but if our team lacks quality bowler then al the efforts put by them go down the drain. biggest example of this is WC 2003 finals. after al the hardwaork, the bowlers put up a miserable show. it is never ending saga. so don't have hopes of winning with these hopless bowlers.

Its not bowlers who win matches in sub continent pitches, batsmen.
Current bowlers seems seam and swing bowlers. Lack pace and variations. But forget that until other talent comes. So far they are the better bowlers from India.
We are highly populated, but not enough to produce a quality fiery fast bowler.
So we have to depend on our batsmen to make us into finals.

yes batsmen to take till finals only for bowlers to lose them in finals see what happned in triseries and wc 2003 finals.

batsmen to take to finals and only for bowlers to put worst performance and lose the in finals. we all know what is happening since wc 2003 finals. we should have some firepower otheriwse we are doomed. even pak, SL are winning becoz of this only.
Dhoni has to be responsible for the loss to Pak.He knew the wicket was easy.A total less than 350 was always gettable.Yet he did not rotate the strike enough. His strike rate till the very end was poor.Look at Younis Khan or Misbah on the same wicket. So the plot was lost even then.Dhoni's game plan to stay at one end and let others do the hitting is not working. This is not to say the bowlers bowled well, they bowled poorly. But it is the lack of another 40 runs that cost India dearly.Dhoni's success in Aus pales if he cannot win in the sub continent.

even if india had socred 375, they would have lost. 5 bowlers are must. reasosn for yest loss 1. top order collapse after excellent start( 3 wickets in less than 10 runs) 2. poor middle order batting.( yvi). 3. poor bowling. 4. not learning from earlier defeats.
2. Sachin Tendulkar: Though he never had big trophies for India in his days, how can we forget his 143 from 131 balls and 134 from 131 balls in the final.
Though played many scintillating innings I prefer those two.

Those two innings were against Aussies in Sharjah for Coca Cola cup. One played in sand storm to stop New zeland from entering in final and the other in Final.

Both against Aussie in Sharjah for Coca Cola Cup. One to enter in Final on better run rate than New zeland and the other in final.
1.Srikanth : This fielder restrictions or power play in initial overs were not there in his time. Had it been there then, he should have won much more matches for us.
