Navjyot Singh's quote
by Pankaj on Jul 01, 2008 10:53 PM  | Hide replies

In 2007 Navjyot Singh Sidhu named T20 as chocolate. (ODI and Test - I don't recall now)

Organisers should give limited importance to T20.

Lets ODI and Test rocks forever with T20 in small doses.

Never heard that, but in 2007 Navjyot Singh Sidhu said Test Cricket is Real Cricket, One day is Pajama Cricket and T20 is Chaddi Cricket..

I don't really agree with him, but he is Sidhu the funny man.. so oh well

T20 over hyped!! ODI & Test is here to stay forever!!
by Nishant on Jul 01, 2008 10:46 PM

For those who think Twenty 20 is the future, kindly watch the highlights of 4th one day between New Zealand & England. It was a pulsating thriller. So just for commmenting on something which is new, dont say T20 is everything. Its like seeing Kaho Na Pyar hai & sayin Hrithik Roshan will have more hits than Amitabh Bachan

I agreee... true I think 50 over game should be scraped and there should be only T20 and test matches. This is the only way to take off the burden from players

Personally ...
by Dire Straits on Jul 01, 2008 09:49 PM

T20 makes me sick. It's as if it's some kind of soap opera and not a game. Even I will get some wickets in T20 cricket since it doesn't involve any skills to take wickets. Just bowl to the batsman and the batsman will slog it in the air, sometimes it'll go for a six, sometimes four, and sometimes OUT !! On the other hand, I'll probably have to bowl all my life and yet I won't be able to get even 1 wicket in Test cricket, since one needs to earn wickets in Test cricket, the batsman doesn't gift them to the bowlers.

Anyone who have been a big fan of cricket in the past would prefer Tests and ODI's over T20 throughout their life. Just ask yourself, would you prefer T20 over Tests or ODI's ? The answer is NO !!

T20 is just Entertainment, Test Matches and ODI's is Real Cricket..............................
by SachinTheGreat on Jul 01, 2008 09:41 PM  | Hide replies

T20 is more Entertainment than Cricket in which T29 Internationals is more Important rather than IPL, We have seen how Some Cricketers have behaved Selfishly by Playin the Entire IPL but making Lame Excuses while playin International Cricket.

Test Matches and ODI's is the Real Cricket where U will come to know the Real Talent of Batsman and Bowlers..................

Whats so funny about it ? There has been many instances where a bowler?s hattrick was spread over two overs.

If total 18.1 overs were bowled then how can you take wicket on 18.2nd ball ?

Samual,

16th and 18th over means 15.6 and 17.1 & 17.2 over balls.

18.1 overs means its 19th over.

Rediff is right in that aspect but cant understand two bowlers sharing 9.3 and 8.4 overs
