Why Sachin?
by Mohd Haris on Feb 01, 2008 11:46 AM  | Hide replies

Why on earth would they wanna play Tendulkar who has not been able to utilize a single on a FREE HIT delivery in the ODIs. He got two free hits and wasted them both. He would be the oldest guy in the T20 encounter, and slow down the otherwise electric fielding India's T20 team is famous for. He is not gonna be a useful bowler for T20, is a much more solid batsman, not a slogger and can't field like the youngsters. Why would they wanna make Sachin endure this? I would never agree to Sachin playing the T20 format.

Who are you to not agree and who cares if you do not agree. What if the less experienced lose their wickets quickly?

Indian tourism - a shame now
by Soy Adrenal on Jan 31, 2008 11:25 PM  | Hide replies

NEW DELHI (Reuters) 2008 - Indian tourism officials are meeting this week to discuss the safety of tourists after at least seven foreign women and girls said they had been raped or molested over the past 20 days, a ministry spokesman said.

Though cricket is making India Proud, iam ashamed now reading this news living in Australia.

Don't go by everything you hear or do not hear from the media...India is as safe or unsafe as any other place on earth depending on what precautions you take.

That's ridiculous. What precautions do you suggest children take in India to stop the rampant abuse? You expect a child to understand the risk of being sexual preyed on? Should they have to? And does adequate precaution involve contacting law enforcement officials who are also rampant rapists?

You're a moron. Sexual abuse directed towards women and children is a common problem around the world sure, but to deny there is not a greater risk of becoming a victim of such in India than the developing world is complete and utter disgusting ignorance. The problem begins with you, contrary to Indian (and the Indian authorities) popular belief, a woman walking alone is not fair game, nor is any child. In the spirit of irony the Indian media is the only one taking up the good fight.

The likely Indian team seems to be spot on.
Only possible change could be Munaf Patel in place of Sreesanth (depending on who is fitter on that day).

We could also think of playing Rohit Sharma in place of Raina, as it is T20 match and not ODI.

Sreesanth is better than Munaf. So if both are fit, Sreesanth is better.
