NOW is the TIME !!!!!!
by badeguruji on Jan 31, 2008 10:19 AM

Now is the time when India and Srilanka can join hands against Australia, - in Australia !!!

In the upcoming ODI series, they should file complaints on every/any objectionable word behavior of a mite. It will kill Aus cricket, I am sure if they are able to get ban/punishment on a couple of thugs, that will send Australian cricket in coma for years.

They should record their objection with umpire whenever a 'mite' shows his character or demonstrates his 'culture'.

India SriLanka and Pakistan cricket teams should join hands - against Australia. The players should go after the mites (anyway this bacteria is no good, for the filthy 'culture' it spreads...)

best of luck to India and Sri-Lanka.

Harbhajan's performance
by Worship the Creator on Jan 31, 2008 09:46 AM

While the Australians no doubt cry aloud when they are paid back with their own coin, there should be some restraint on Bhajji as well. He is doing more with the tongue than what he is doing with the ball. All these controversies against him has put his performance in the background... He has been performing very poorly over the past 1 or 2 years now. The Indian board is paying all the attention to the controversy created and forgetting about his poor performances..

no victory for bcci but its defeat.
by . on Jan 31, 2008 06:31 AM

infact, bhajji shudnt hv got 50% fine, but symonds shud hv got fine not only for abusing bhajji but also instigating him.

so v r happy for what? for 50% fine on bhajji whereas symonky goes scot free? its rather defeat for bcci.

its like politicians in india, who will do such things to avoid public anger. eg. they will hike the price of petrol from 50 to 60 per ltr. then to cool down public, they will reduce the price to 55 per ltr. so public will b happy. ultimately they forget abt the 5 rs. rise.

peter roebuck

I dont understand where Peter Roebuck is coming from, He seems to be fairly intelligent and makes valid points and then he goes on and makes stupid statements, in his last article he writes about "INDIA FLEXING ITS MUSCLES, ITS DEPLORABLE ACT" I ask him what is India expected to do, meekly retreat, when it is obvious that Austrailia, by ROEBUCK'S own admission used unfair tactics, He goes on to say that Procter is not well versed in the "intracacies of evidence", so Gavaskar should not have been venomous, Well Mr. Roebuck if he is not capable, what right does he have or what qualifications does he have to pass a judgement? rememeber good guys finish last, and although India are NOT agressors, they will defend themselves with all means at their disposal, in Cricket or otherwise.
We have learnt how to play the game now, and will use the muscle that we've always had.

is there any option for appeal against this order on bhajji?
by . on Jan 30, 2008 10:39 PM  | Hide replies

then try that option not only to remove 50% fee fine on bhajji but also for invoking penalty on symonds to instigate bhajji unnecessarily.

in criminal law terminology, abetment to crime is also a crime.

successfully fought with Pakistand and Sri Lanka in the past. They thought they will get away with India too but they met their match. Neither they had the evidence to catch Bhajji nor the money power to stand up to BCCI, they lost on both counts lol
