In Ranji, Manoj has performed badly except double ton in the first match, two month back. Kaif and Badrinath is performing well in Ranji consistently. Also Kaif hit 160 in Dulip trophy recently. He is in good form, as well as a excelent fielder and great motivator in the field, which will help Dhoni in the field. Why Kaif and Badri is getting ovelooked???

Kaif got so many chances to prove himself but the selectors didn't gave a single chance to prove. Badrinath has scored 8 centuries in his last 10 first class matches.
If the reasons for dropping senior players are their fielding skills and the bigger grounds... on what logic Munaf is chosen who is pathetic in the field.. the whole world knows that. And he is neither an express quick nor a genuine 3 or 4 wicket taker in every match. Why the hell mr. vengsarkar and his team doing this? Dont we have even a SINGLE person other than this fellow?
MUNAF IS THE WORST POSSIBLE CHOICE. HE CAN CONCEED 5 TO 7 RUNS LESSER BECAUSE OF HIS DEFENSIVE BOWLING BUT CAN CONCEED 15-20 RUNS MORE BECAUSE OF HIS POOR FIELDING...
Munaf is a wrong choice. It is difficult to comprehend how the selectors are so routine in selecting him despite his becoming sick and unfit after bowling a few overs at the nets or in the match proper, everytime he is recalled to the team.
Ranadeb Bose would have been a better choice.
Perhaps, there was no need for any replacement for RP Singh at this stage. There are only a few ODI matches to be played in the triseries and the team has Pathan, Sreesanth, Ishant Sharma, Praveen Kumar besides the spinners.
Munaf came into the team, claiming to be able to bowl at 145 kmph. He was actually bowling at around 135 k when he started his career. Guru Greg's intervention with the benign cooperation of skipper Dravid saw him drop his pace to about 118-123 kmph!
He is not just an inadequate fielder, he simply does not know how to field!

you've hit the nail on the head!! unfortunately the BCCI idiots wont realise all this. he is the most laziest and unfit cricketer in the whole world.
but not to worry.. is a matter of time before he picks up another injury.

no first ajit will probably play duleep trophy to get match fit. west zone have duleep trophy game versus english lions on Feb 11th. I see him in action next in IPL only.
It is alas our Indian pacers are suffering from injuries and it clearly shows that our pacers are unhealthy in every aspects and they are not competent to pacemen of other countries. Sreesanth is a very good bowler and far better than Munaf. If he is concentrating in his bowling even he can bowl better than any fast bowler of India. Also he is the fastest bowler available in India now. Munaf replacing RP means T-20 and two three ODIS gone to water. Call Sreesanth save India.
RE:Where is Sreesanth ? Is he still not fit ?

Sreesanth is doing more talking than walkinge says Aussies are afraid he's coming. Arrogant idiot is due for some serious beating in upcoming games.

EDAAA SUPandi .. you shows your arrogant behavior here. It is clear that you are arrogant than any other Indians. shup up you nut.. wait and see who will be beating in upcoming games. The Aussies batsmen will beat by him, if he is fit and recovered from his injury. If Sreesanth is that arrogant what u say, Indian selectors will not pick him up into Indian squad. Indian selectors are favoring him because he has proved his skill and saved a couple of series outside our country. Especially in T-20 he was a Hero. So stop writing nonense you senseles supandi an ugly Paandi

Sumit, Don't get turned on so much. Only time will tell if Sreesanth is any good in Aus. He's trying to threaten with 140kmph, where every damn bowler bowls that pace?
He's an arrogant ass and his talent will go down the drain because of his attitude. What's the point of boasting before the games? Remember what happened to Shoaib Akhtar after challenging Sachin Tendulkar verbally?
Munaf is young but but Badrinath a bit more aged but has a very good record in the recent past. They should have have him a chance also. Manoj in the recent past ios not doing well and it would have been prudent to try him in the home grounds initially before thinking of sending him particularly to Australia. Moreover Bdari has played in Australia with the India A team and definitely has a better record.
