If at all Bhajji is proved innocent or there is no proof against him, then BCCI must counter attack and slam charges against Symonds, Ponting, Clarke and Hayden for making false, baseless, unsubstantiated charges against Bhajji and for bringing the game of cricket to disrepute.
The conter attack should be pursued relentlessly so that next time players think before bringing frivolous charges.

Only hope we have not said it, If we have been caught having said it shame on the nation. It would have been gracious had the Indians if ever they said it accept the same and stand by it .If they haev indeed lied they needs to be punished. there is nothing worng if he called some one monkey . But we should have stood by it if we had said it . Hope that the camera comes out clean and gives a clean chit. We cannot act like modi in the international arena. There is no direct evidence, including the audio evidence. The rest of all the conversation is a fake recording by that abusive Hayden (the grand daddy of all sledgers) and the foul mouthed Symonds.

I probably agree with what you have written except that last portion I did not understand. What was that Mr. Modi said and then denied.

Kumble pleaded with Ponting to withdraw the case. The he tried to be smart by foisting a counter case . then he tried to look statesmanlike by withdrawing the case. The Aussies have called his bluff and have persisted. I am sure that Aussies have been pushing only because of the evidence on stump mikes.

They have sprung up NOW after two more tests have gone under way. Why wasn't this recording made available to Procter? Because it hadn't been doctored enough back then and could have worked against the Aussies? And by the way, these stump mikes are solely the property of Channel 9 (an Australian company) and this property was deliberately not shared with other broadcasters (STAR) during the ill-fated day. What does it prove? Why has Gilly suddenly decided to retire? His self-conscience not allowing him to carry on with a bunch of liars and tape-creators? Secular India: Think hard. I think the Australian TV channel was busy in creating fake stump evidence these days after Sydney test. Why haven't they shown the evidence then itself? There is absolutely some thing wrong there

The whole thing is a lie (they could not record Harbhajan using the word monkey)? Now that is funny in other words all the taping was done in the recent past to create false evidence. No wonder the Aussies are scared now and have agreed to reduction of Bhajji's sentence.

The evidence has been proven false, its a fake tape that is why the charges against Bhajji have been dropped from 3.3 to 2.8.
That loser Hogg is lucky to continue in International cricket, Kumble did a huge favor by saving his career (even though he was openly unrepentant).
