India has done a good job on day 1 of the adelaide test. Thanks to Sehwag giving a good start and Sachin still playing at his majestic best. India has to continue playing this way and post a 1'st innings total of approx. 550 and put the Aussies in to bat by Tea. This is so that the Indian Pacers n the Spin duo can have a crack at the punters. Sachin has done his job already and it would be unfair to ask the master blaster to go on the same way. i think that Dhoni has to take it on himself and increase his strike rate by a considerable level. 6 runs of 54 balls from Dhoni is not something that we are not used to seeing considering the flambuoyant strokemaker he is but I can understand that he would have liked to close out the 1'st day's play on an unbeaten score. Let us see if he marks a change in his approach tomorrow.
As the groundsman has rightly said, the pitch at adelaide plays similar our pitches back home so kumble's decision to play Harbhajan Singh will pay off well.
I hope India score another 150 runs to be in a comfortable position. I hope they don't bat the way they did in the first innings in Perth. We don't want Aus to take first innings lead from this situation.
