Just to be right, I think cricket is won on the field ( bat , ball and fielding ) and not in the nets. So, who comes top is what matters but what went by in the nets is only a preparation. So you prepare well you may do well . Weather, wind, umpires, pitch comes in the next step that go a long way to dictate terms on the field . Don't we think so ? Does the players think so ?
--------------------- No sledging means no mental ability for poor Aussies...
Indian team was enjoying a pure atmosphere in Perth which is so strange for Aus players. They were calling all opponets father and mother, dogs, cats and a drums of the infamos F word and all...when its all stopped aussies lost the WIND on their ship's tarpolin...
And from some where Mr Use-les prasad emerged with lille's underwear-wind theory to crop the credit in his name...
Kapil Dev was a truly a great player but his communication in both Hindi and English ranges from hilarious to rib tickling. I do not understand Punjabi, may be he is a good speaker of that language.
Rahul Dravid may be a man of letters but tends to giggle a lot (most of the time unnecessary and at times irritating) and also tends to repeat inane things as if they were quotes from Shakespeare.
Sidhu belongs to an extreme. Sometimes he is superb and most times he is verbose. Krish Srikanth is a poor cousin of Sidhu. It is funny that his answers are often prompted by the way questions are worded by media people. (Watch him carefully next time, you will understand what I mean)
There are a few who know what they talk and talk what they know - for example Ajay Jadeja, Kumble, Ravi Shastri. Sunil Gavaskar is the best of the lot. I enjoy his smug and spontaneous witticism.
Venkatesh Prasad is a poor communicator. He says so many words where fewer are required. He appears to think that he is highly analytical and thoroughly professional but turns out to be run of the mill at the end of any conversation.
Well, not everything is everybody's cup of tea. I respect people for what they are good at.

In 2nd test tendlkr misfielded a shot (out of his hands) and it went to boundary... Mr SG said "probably Ganguly should have tried to stop that he was closer" no comments on tendulkar. this is 1000th time i heard him favor SRT since 1990. Why does SunnyG favor Tandulkar so much...
Cricket is becomming complicated, more technical jargons are used to cover up the loss. All the cricket palying nations are poor losers and they may end up saying earth (pitch), water (moisture), air (wind) are the reasons for their losing or winning the game. In all other sports its more about the player who is playing than these useless things. Comming up with these conclusions, scientists have to come up with some stadium where all these factors are not affected.
Rediff Don't change the entire meaning of tips offered by Denis Lillee....This is useless article. Useless prasad don't know what to reveal in front of Media.

Good Sportsman dont have boundaries. Otherwise why the hell he is working with MRF academy. My friend rise above the narrow interests. Its stupid to say that only lillee's input led to aussie loss. Do you mean other aussies dont know about winds in their country and only lillee knows about them. its good performance by Team India. Whenever they deserve credit give them.
