He must be encouraged
by Narasimhan K V on Jan 19, 2008 11:03 PM

Ghosh must be guided properly. Not punished. If the whole world can tolerate the lies, falsehoods of Ricky Ponting as they always play hard and fair, there is no wrong in grooming this kid in the right to better Ponting and the like

We Indians dont look at what is good about a certain feet....thats why we nebver learn and never grow. So what if he was not registered...what he did was a great great feat and that should come out as important in this news item. bad new coverage by Rediff.

Thi Soumen Ghosh may be older than the alowed age limits for this tournament, and if so, it would have been easier for him to have thrashed the bowling (if he plays well, that is). I remember, when i played inter-school matches, there was once this guy playing for the other team, and it turned out he was the cousin of our team-mate (and that guy was 19 years old then, when we are 14 or 15). This happens a lot in the small tournaments. If he was really within the age limits and was a member of the club, why did they not select him for the match before the match.
