Shuan Tait taken for bait
by Muralidhar Rao on Jan 19, 2008 08:26 AM  | Hide replies

Tait did not get a single wicket after all the hype. What a shame for the bragging OZ. Even Indian pacers have done far better than Tait so far in this test.

when the going gets tough.
by . on Jan 18, 2008 11:17 PM

ind definitely in commanding position.
but really speaking the ponting / gilchrist factor wud now come into action. they r the genuine n quality players who wud shine when the going gets tough. so beware of them.

the fastest pitches in perth ???
by . on Jan 18, 2008 11:14 PM

if the fastest pitches like perth gets slower like this, then its the loss of charm of watching genuine pace attack doing the talk on the pitch. they shud keep some pitches really fastest.

The match is not over by any means!!
by Bhasmasur on Jan 18, 2008 09:42 PM  | Hide replies

Ponting, Hussey, Clarke are all great players thus we should not assume that 413 is out of reach for the great aussies!!
India have to take early wickets with the newish ball and atleast have them 5 down by lunch...otherwise the match can slip out of our hands!!

All the best to Indian team which is now looking confident and can go for the kill...let us see!!

I assure you that Aussie will be atleast 4 wickets down by Lunch and India will win after playing 1 hour in Post-Tea session.

No way. It is going to be ausie with a comfortable margin of wkts minimum with 4 wickets to spare and almost a day ahead. We indians do not have the will to succeed when it is most needed. Ausies are too determined lot and 412 is peanuts for them on this pitch. The success of Indian bowling in the first innings is just and isolated incident. Indians do not have the fire to bowl out auisies two times in a test. They are too over confident because ausies were cheaply out in first innings. Ausies are not fools to throw their wickets (unless they had been compensated monetarily beforehand); not mere winning remember they are going for a record and that fire would blunt the indian attack beyond imagination and to dismay of you folks. It happened in Sydney and it will happen here at in future too. Methinks only kumble has a chance to break them. I bet india lose tamely... want to take up the bet?

Kumble will have a great time tomorrow for sure. This type of track can assist him very much as his bowling needs some bounce to become fatal
