India Scoring 250 means they have scored 198 on 3rd day. So Australia have to score 250 118 for a win, that is 368 for a win. So 198 368=566 runs on a single day that too in about 80 overs which is the average of the overs bowled per day. What is this non-sense? If u dont know about cricket then go to hell...not here.

I'm firmly with ranatunga, and had felt, they went overboard with murli, even if he were to be a chucker or not. it was the worst behaviour by the aussies then. they will always wear the mask of being fair. indians were ridiculed by some select aussie blokes on this rediff board. perhaps out of contempt for some real angry indians. but failed to realize the under current about how they are really perceived out of their world of make belief champions of fairplay. they are masters at many a sport, but very poor when it comes to sledging and other cheap antics on field to insult worthy opponents under the banner of gamesmanship or whatever fancy term. of late most other teams seem to emulate that instead of copying the aussie winningness. every other team is mired in controversies poor selection and some low quality cricket. the aussie team has really not met a match and have a pile of statistics to boast about. I'd rather not compare them to the great all conquering west indian side of clive llyod, as its an unfair comparison between great sides of different eras. ponting's men the best ? sure! this age and time they are the best. compare that with waugh ? i'd rather not, waugh was a great character even though i dont like him personally. ponting's a great batsmen, and one whom i tip to beat many of tendulkar's records. but there's one department where i'll place ponting at an all time low - on field behaviour and fairplay.

Brother, I will never like Pointing to break any of the Sachin's record..and also the way Sachin is playing for last 1 year, he and Pointing will retire at the sametime..they have just 18 months age difference between them..

I am no sachin fan, but can u tell me who is among the top 5 run getters in this series(even after getting couple of rough decisions), sachin or ponting??? If only skill and talent matter then Harshad Mehta, Charles Shobraj and their ilk would be ideal role models

Hey Nilesh, If you go through the records for the previous 2-3 test series, you will find that Sachin is amongst the top run getters for India with Saurav Ganguly. If Sachin retires, who will make the runs? Do you know how to bat?
