cricket by GRE STRUGGLER exam on March third on Jan 17, 2008 03:12 AM | Hide replies
why is cricket so popular in india ??? i think it best epitomizes the indolent attitude of so many indians who would much rather sit on a couch and criticise rather than actually participate in a sport. actually, the indians are never good at any sports coz of their laziness. we can also the the evidence of this indolence in the no.of people who vote, no.of people who take part actively in sport etc etc
MR GRE STRUGGLER NOW GO AND HANG YOURSELF. INDIA HAS WON. I LOVE MY INDIA.
India started extremely well but at the end of the day it was the Aussies who took back the initiative. So by the close of play it was the Aussies who were on top not India sharing honours with a score of 6/297. A score of 4/297 would have been sharing honours!!
People may talk about shared honours during the first day, but India should look at this as a missed opportunity. The good work done by our batsmen in the first 2 1/2 sessions of play was undone by some poor strokes in the last session. India should have ended the day with 4 wickets down. We would have had an upper hand when the play starts on day-2. But now, I think Aussies have an upper hand. The new ball bowlers will start afresh at our batsmen, none of whom have great credentials facing a quality attack. This is the time for Dhoni to put his act together and deliver (is this my wishful thinking?) ! Ofcourse, he will have to be supported by Pathan, Kumble and the rest to follow. The rest of the Indian batsmen should try to put up 100 to 125 runs more. Then India are in with atleast somewhat chance.
Dear Mr. Moderator of Rediff I am Lotiya Pathan, an avid cricket fan, who enjoys playing, seeing & writing (through your forum) about my views on Indian cricket. I have been participating in your discussion board since last 2 years . What I find disgusting is that an entity named "Chris aka Charlie Schembri aka Ishant Patnan aka noir preto aka Doogie Howser aka michael waugh , " is patently out of line and is derogatory to the extreme while replying to my purely cricketing opinion. A Blog is a Blog. You can express your views and you and also expose your Perverse Self. This is the job of of the MODERATOR to post online ( where such demented and perverted characters participate ) OR to draw a line ( where only the relevant topic is discussed) I want to take legal action against this entity & request you to provide me with details of this entity. Otherwise I shall hold Rediff.com responsible for allowing such libelous inputs. I'm serious, I'm ready to approach higher authorities regarding this and believe me.. either that entity or rediff will suffer.... I am aware of the telecom regulatory act and other relevant allied acts & will not be satisfied till REDIFF or its MODERATOR work towards proper scrutiny of Posts Ion their Discussion Board or their corresponding Replies.

Excellent initiative Lotiya Pathan!! You are talking my mind too. I also tried to post a reply to that idiot called Charlie Schembri. But like everybody else's efforts my effort also did not bring any result. What I saw is all the replies to this entity was reported for abuse! However, the derogatory postings against Indians from that entity kept coming and my effort to report it as abuse also was not succeeded. I think, rediff has a clear role in that drama.
abe gadhon, no aussie or foreigner comes to these foums.. it is usually a indian pretending to be someone else, posting nonsense to get a reaction from you, or just irritate you and give you a heartburn...i have seen my room mate do it a 100 times...and then tells me.. ab dekh mazaa aayegaa. mera message padke sab paagal ho jaayenge so take it easy.. no need to whip up passion

But we take only the smart educated rats who run in those little wheels doing all the work for us Australians, and Australia remains good........... man, you talk so rubbish! it just laughable to see your thinking!!
if they are poor or drive taxis, just imagine if they the taxi and drive straight to your home!! are you happy with such scenarios!!!
