Hi Arun: What do you say about his reaction when he took Rahul Dravid who was solidly set on 93 (in the first innings)? He was absolutely impassive. What say you about his reaction on having taking a batsman who actually was playing a bit bradmansque? Its all a part of the game. Don't read too much into it.

the reaction shown by symonds when was out can be understood!! but he paid the price from the sydney match, being dishonest!! he deserve the out like that!!!

they invented this evil sledging and its costing them now!! nobody can escape!!
so let ur own ausi team b warned for sledging against all the opponents (no one spared by them). else if ausi continue sledging n if others retaliate, this ian chappel n the biased icc n their puppet referees, wud say stop the sledging against ausis. they will penalise sledging against ausi but will do nothing against ausi the sledgers.

Agreed! Let us start w/banning the major players...the Aussies! To sledge a person out then say that they play it that way is ridiculous! Like murdering someone then saying it was the way we play cricket!

It is the Aussie cricket team who invented sledging on field to disintegrate the mental strength of the opposition and sometimes go down so cheaply to an extent that they abuse them very badly and many times they have come out without any stiffer penalties.' I remember a joke during child hood days... when someone farts in the middle of a bunch of boys.. he immediately stands up and says...'guys i didn't fart.. (i think it is the guilty consciousness that is working here with ian chappell that before someone pinpoints on the aussies... the Oz wants to divert the topic as if they are clean.

Look whos talking!! Ian Chappel was the 1st one to start this so called "discussions" on the field. Sledging is more common with the aussie team. Others too do it (including bahjji), but the aussies are the masters of this art too.
