Sehwag could not fully angle his bat to hit the stroke and this why he gave a nick to be out on an bouncing outswinger. Indian bowlers can do the same by denying the width to play stroke and forcing the batsmen to play. In case of Sehwag, the play means a stroke. Sehwag in order to make his stroke will have to make width by moving to leg side (for off balls) or moving to off side (legside balls). Either way there is risk of missing and the ball hitting the stumps. But atleast he can hit his strokes this way. Even tendulkar took his chance to hit at Lee and the ball went above symonds head.
Sreesanth is the guy who brought sevaral victories in overseas in test cricket. Why he is not considering as he cleared his fitness? His Aggressiveness motivates the entire team, moreover he is contributing with his bat also like brett lee and Vaas. Guys, vote for him and we badly need him.

First you name the "several" overseas victories you're talking about. I only remember one at SA. He's OK but he got hammered against Aus in the ODI series in India, and you say we "badly need him"??

Sreesanth is the most successfull bowler against aussies for the past years, if u look at the records. He has got hayden , gilly, ponting sevaral times.(Ref :Twenty-20 world cup semi final, last Aussie our in india). He is th only pace bowler in india.
have to say something about the speed and machines...but will let is pass ...there is a BIG game in it. This is how wars are won.. The selectors will remain the same if India wins or loose!!!! Heard the song -- Yeha lungi waala naaha sudhraa hein naa sudhreegaa
January 16, 2008 SPEED machine Shaun Tait reckons he could deliver cricket's fastest ball of all time on a scary Perth pitch that spells doom and destruction for India in the third Test. As Tait was handed a search and destroy mission in Australia's four-man pace blitz, he insisted he could break the 161.3km/h world speed record held by Pakistan's Rawalpindi Express, Shoaib Ahktar. And fast bowling legend Dennis Lillee believes Tait can bowl even quicker and push the speed radar to an incredible 170kmh on a wicked WACA wicket. "Tait, on a good day putting it all together, it would not surprise me if he bowled that 170kmh ball," Lillee said. Tait sent down a 160kmh thunderbolt last year and feels he bowled even quicker when there was no speed gun in Australia's Twenty20 demolition of New Zealand in Perth last December. "I'd like to have a crack at Shoaib's record and it would be nice to knock it off," Tait said. "I've bowled at 160kmh before and there is no reason why I can't go quicker. There is a good possibility that I can bowl at that (world record) speed, especially if I go out there not thinking about it." Tait is not sure he can match Lillee's prediction and bowl at 170km/h, but he has promised to leave nothing in the tank against an Indian team that is expected to recall dashing opener Virender Sehwag to provide more batting firepower at the top of the order. Tait's selection ahead of Brad Hogg means Australia will adopt a blood and thunder policy with four fr

..they should've had him at MCG and Sydney - the result would've been 1-0 India. The difference so far has been their outstanding opening partnerships and our lack thereof. Jaffer is still a failure on foreign soil. RD should be made permanent opener. He's perfectly suited for it.

I can't understand how you can keep someone out of the team that scored 195 on a track the last time he was here. Its criminal. When batters favor a pitch, they generally do well there almost always. This being a Test, he could've scored big time in one of the two innings and saved us from the embarassing defeat.
