Australian team is a disgrace on cricket
by chris on Jan 20, 2008 12:13 AM

As an Australian I feel ashamed that Australian team are so mibehaved. Well actually this goes back in history. As you might have read the article "Understanding the Australian". It says it all about why we behaves like we do.

Holding is yet another guy who has insulted Mr.Integrity and his team. How dare he do that?

ICC is a SCUM ridden Organization full of white trash
by Vishnu Sharma on Jan 15, 2008 07:37 AM

Let us cast it aside and start our own leagues and sponsorships in the subcontinent.

First they will Ignore you, Then They will Laugh at you, then they will fight you using legal nonsense and even weapons, they will loose and you will kick them in the head and bury them in the sand.

That is what will happen to all White "Banders"

After all Bucknor is not pro-Aussie.. RIGHT.
But don't forget he is anti-Indian.. So the end result is the same.
And if you care to visit Australian blogs and discussion boards, all are justifying Bucknor by pointing out that India / Pakistan were having biased umpiring in the olden days and that was the reason Australia was faring badly during those days. I can't say much about Paki umpiring (having heard that they gave LBWs even when the ball was headed for the 5th slip) but the accusers need to understand, bless their souls, that it was an Indian umpire who gave Maninder Singh LBW off an inside edge in the historic tied test of Madras..
So much so for Introspection and not blaming the umpires. If only Sachin and Laxman had been given two more chances like Symonds and Hussey, then notwithstanding any other comic decision (like not referring stumpings to third umpire; third umpire ruling not out wrongly even when it did get referred to him etc.) India could have WON, forget drawing the match..
Introspection is certainly due. But more so for the team which is claiming to have played in all fairness and spirit of the game.

This is ICC
by Sharad Saxena on Jan 14, 2008 11:29 PM

Since 1997....interesting!!!

Indian players----43 times charged
Pakistani ''------39 '' ''

Saurabh ganguli--- 14 '' ''
Inzamamulhaq------ 11 '' ''
Akhtar/Sachin/Dravid/Latif....a long list of sub continent players
Murali/akhtar/Bhajji/Malinga and so many others were tried to disturb by putting chucking charges??

No of times whenever australian/english players were seems guilty case was buried in the deep but every legal or illegal opportuny was fully utilised by ICC to punish the sub continent players

Mike Artherton was not foud guily of ball tempering by ICC though the whole world has seen it , but same ICC forced Pakistan 2 lose oval test in 2006 without any reason

A group of indian players was punished by ICC for excessive appealing but ICC closed his eyes when australians were doing that

Latif was badly punished by for wrong catch ICC but ponting and clark were not even noticed by same ICC...forget punishment

Did BCCI lose in table talk?...time ll tell
by Sharad Saxena on Jan 14, 2008 10:47 PM  | Hide replies

Ultimately BCCI and Indian team mgmt FORGIVEN Brad Hogg and taken back all the charges against him which could be very effectively used against Cricket australia nad ICC , in the WIDE INTEREST OF CRICKET....looks great

BUT ....what logic BCCI will give if ICC gives decision that Harbhajan is guilty and punish him??? I hope BCCI might have considered the cheating nature of australians and racial history of ICC...

Must post your views friends

Hi Sharad:

Brad Hogg forgiven -> shows the magnanimity of Indians.

Brad Hogg forgiven despite Aussies using the forbidden B word for decades -> shows the Indian patience.

Symonds issue flaring up within the second time it was "perceived" that the M word was used ("perceived" because the entire Indian camp has denied that usage) -> shows the intolerance of the Aussies. Crack within 2 times of hearing a forbidden word, as opposed to the maturity shown by Indians.

This cracking shows that the Aussies are not really tough. Merely arrogant. No mental werewithal.

Unilateral pardon of Hogg by Indians -> shows how narrow minded and close minded and obstinate the Aussies are, who could not have a heart large enough to repeal the charge against Bhajji even when requested by Kumble, the captain.

And finally, your point is valid, BCCI MUST have considered the cheating nature of Australians and the racial history of ICC. What better way of exposing all of that to the world than taking steps as outlined by me above, and proving the points I highlighted above?

Cheers.

Five hundred drunken teenagers have attacked police during a wild party in the Australian city of Melbourne.
Officers answering a complaint about noise were forced to retreat and await reinforcements after they were attacked with rocks and bottles.

The teenager who threw the party while his parents were away could now face a bill for thousands of dollars to pay for the damage done in the rampage.

Police blamed lack of adult supervision for the under-age drinking spree.

So what. this happens every where. At least laws work in those countries. Dont blame the entire nation for the over zealous behaviour of cricketing 11 ( infact only 6) of Ausralia. As I was watching I found the Australian spectators very decent compared to our Mumbhai crowd when they visited India. Let us be open minded and only fight where we have to. Otherwise we lose credibility.

Why blame Australia if Yuvraj & Dhoni are after Deepika Phadukone?
Why was Irfan Pathan & Dinesh Karthick left out despite their proven records?
Why blame umpiring alone if Jaffer, Dhoni, Yuvraj & our Indian bowlers apart from RP Singh did not play well?
If Symonds & Clarke can turn a match in a matter of 10-15 overs, then Why cant Kumble & Bhajji trouble the Aussies on a turning weary track?
You people should remember that Sachin & laxman were given not-out on two lbw close shouts?
Why did not the Indians prevent Hayden & Hussey from scoring?
Introspect. Dont blame the umpires alone. After all Bucknor is not pro-Aussie fellow.

Nobody is claiming that India has a better team. All we are trying not to lose the series. And who knows if the umpire had given Symonds out, we'd have won the match. Is it really imposible? We have won tests in SA, Eng, Pak, WI and Aus itself in the recent past. And does anything mean Aus has right to shameful behavior and biased umpiring? And if they really believe in themselves, why do they have to resort to cheating? And what's wrong if we defeat them next time they travel on square turners? If they are good enough, they should win on all the surfaces. We don't complain about bouncy wickets in Aus.

Yes, India could have won the match even if on the fifth day if the two out of Rahul and Saurav were not given, and we all know those two umpiring error and cheating by the Aussie, Wall and dada were scoring fast, and seemed they are trying to get close to the target as soon as possible, but all went invain as the GREAT TWO ALLROUNDER played better for Australia.

Senthil, Please dont be nasty and abusive to a woman just because she has opinions different from you. Will you be so abusive to a guy who has the same view? Every one has a right to express their opinions however strong it is provided it is not abusive. Though I detest what Symond and Ponting are doing I think Deepa makes a good point about selection of our team and how the Indian players are buckling under pressure. Every team is talented. What make a team champions is their mental toughness and the team spirit and management.

It is not about talking only about umpires.

no body forgets we are against a very good in there back yard where even there domestic guys can have a ball. We cant question why havent we taken Hayden and Hussey. It is a record itself that we got the rest of them as the rest are among the top 20 players in the world.

India is doign absolutely great but luck(in terms of umpiring) hasnt favoured them. So we are caliing it that.

Kudos to India which is doing so well inspite of losing its front line bowlers and Yuvraj and dhoni, the new generation players, have not come to the game.

Are you trying to say that India is not a good country to live in?
Thats your opinion. I can't talk to a person who is determined to say something bad against his own mother land.
That shows your upbringing and how much you love your people. You can make a best traitor. Ask Aussie if they have any job for you in their intelligence service.

I know people like him. I meet them here in the USA all the time. Most of the times these are the people who were just lucky to be here. Either their uncles or spouses sponsor them. They have never worked hard in their life to achieve anything. They get everything easily and then they start bashing India. They are the ones who were once hooligans breaking all the laws in India and bragging about it. Like it is said "Shallow water makes more noise". just learn to ignore such barking dogs.

so ultimately.. nothing happens or wil happen to the aussies.. n they will keep repeating this crap in future too
n i guess they were desperate to win the 16th test.. that's why they overdid it.. n will do the same for the 17th.. cause ponting wants to beat steve's record.. hook or crook..

If the umpires are there to give out for allAussies appeal due to pressure, they shouldn't be standing there in a international test match. No excuse. The worst thinig is the same umpires not giving out for aussies batsman even for genuine indian appeal. This is rediculous....
