Pollock's retirement
by Ramachandran V on Jan 12, 2008 04:06 PM

Pollock's retirement is definitely the first of the saddest news of 2008, a top class bowler, quality batsman, reasonable captain and a gentleman cricketer. He retired as a captain immediately after 2003 world cup debacle and now retires at probably the right time. Au Reviour Shaun, May you spend the rest of your time as qualitatively as you have done so far. Will we another Pollock in the near future. The cricketing world needs the Pollocks

pollock retires
by BALASUBRAMANAYAM SHARMA on Jan 12, 2008 02:53 PM

A great sportsman and a perfect gentleman of the game, Pollock never courted controversies in his 13yr career and had established himself as one of the top all roundars of the game.

Its a heart felt adieu to the gentleman warrior of the Protea team
