if u urself r not doing acting against ppl n emotionally not using the opportunity.
threat abt pullout may never happen as bhajji's case may b postponed till the end of the tour n during final hearing, racism charge may b confirmed. so ultimately ind will b the loser from all the angles, neither bhajji can get justice nor ind can pullout of the completed tour.
if bhajji can b charged immediately , y not hogg is even charged, he is going to get hearing in perth ie after one week of the incident.

Even if Harbhajan has called Symonds 'Monkey how does it amount to a racial slur. If people can be called donkeys, bulls, swines etc. How does calling someone monkey amount to a racial slur? Unless of course if the Ozzies except that they belong to the group of monkeys

rediff boards have been awash with this same question. perhaps you might want to see the other newsbits with message boards having quite a debate. lotsa aussie blokes too joining the debate, some trolling, others debating meaningfully. on the blue corner have the frustrated indians who've been beaten black and blue by the aussie team AND the umpires :P

anyways, here goes (deep breath). the word monkey in india has zero connotation to racism , you have a valid point. the word monkey is commonly used in india by kids and others as a silly act - 'dont monkey around' or 'dont act like a monkey'. now, since cricket is an international game, the icc has constituted rules not to tolerate racism (and for some strange reason, swearing/ sledging which is carried out almost domineeringly by the aussie team isnt thought of as much). next, bhajji had uttered that word to symonds who apparently thought it was racist, to make things worse, the crowd took the cue from there. symonds felt humiliated, the crowd was silenced after a couple of such incidents. (meanwhile no improvement on their sledging bit, aussies continue to insult the indians & their parents). that sets a precedent and bhajji knows that he cannot utter that word, if he did, he'd stand guilty, and NEEDS to be punished severely. symonds provokes bhajji and claims he has said the M word. the umpire believes it and punishes him unfairly. and i standby sachin & kumble rather than symonds!
