Are you sure you are Indian or an Australian writing with the name of Indian. We have seen 10-12 wrong decision. Only one decision favor India other support Aussies, why not make issue with bad umpiring. When Rashid do same thing he got 5 test matches ban, why not Ricky should be banned with 5 test. You are not looking this matter talking about Harbhajan just bullshit.!!!! Don't use "Jai Hind" you are not an Indian. Whether an Indian is wrong or right we should support him.

Hello Rakesh,
How can you judge, I have also seen the match fully, there were no evidence that Bhajji has used any racial abuse words.

It is just the ACB wants to degrade the bad umpiring issue with some other problem. Because it is a black mark of ACB.

Do you justify that they can do anything for creating record. If it is true, then they are not players.

Do remember Indian team has reached it is peak point of tolerance. It is happened because we tolerated earlier Aus tour. I hope this will not be happened next time.

indians never indulge in taunts or try to demean others. ausralians provocate and we reacted. if monkey is demeaning to you i dont know what to say.god only knows the langauge australians use is much worse. the thing is they cant take a simple taunt calling them a monkey but they talk so much crap to players of other countries. they are just crybabies.u get what u give. give other players respect and u will get it in return. talk bad crap to players then that is what u will get back.

Get back to serious cricket now
by CricFan01 on Jan 10, 2008 06:06 AM  | Hide replies

Indian team needs to get back to serious cricket now and plan on how they will play at Perth. The problem is in the opening partnership. If Jaffer scores in Canberra (which he can because the bowling may not anywhere near Lee or Clarke) and Sehwag fails then it will be back to same again. Playing Sehwag is a gamble and India would have been better taking this gamble in the first 2 tests when the series was wide open, not in the 3rd test. In the 1st test they were totally outplayed because of ultra defensive tactics and in the 2nd tests India could have still saved the game (inspite of horrendous umpiring) if Jaffer, Yuvraj or Dhoni had contributed a little. These players could not even play on slower surfaces like Melbourne and Sydney (not as slow as MCG, but still not the quickest by any means), so one wonders how many balls they will survive on Perth which (based on past) is the quickest wicket in Australia. Dont think Yuvraj is test class batsmen anyway, he could not even play the 2nd rate spinners Hogg and Symonds. Perhaps Indians should see the recording of 174 by Sandeep Patil in 1981 and 114 by Sachin in 1992, both on same grounds to get some inspiration.

It's not only the fastest pitch in Australia, probably fastest pitch in the world. I doubt, whether Yuvi, Dhoni & jaffer clear single digit...

Probably the Cape Town in SA was quicker than Perth, based on the reports when India played in SA. In any case Yuvi, Dhoni and Jaffer would be easy pickings for Aus bowlers as they dont have the technique nor footwork to play on quick pitches. Sehwag could be the trump card, if he plays as well as he did last time. He can unsettle Aus bowlers with his unorthodox batting, but again there are lots of ifs and buts. Hope he plays and is able to score some runs.

issue is fixing by umpires.
by . on Jan 09, 2008 11:51 PM

fixing by umpires in sydney test, they r hand in glove with all the boards/icc. all this racial abuse is for diverting the attention from the main problem.
plz recall the statements of bcci during the test match.
first day bcci 'directs' the team management to lodge protest against the bad umpiring. (as if team cant do it on their own). the very next day (2nd day of the test), they backtrack n ask team not to protest.

at last.

"Hogg on his part is likely to suggest that the abusing word is used as mate-ship in the Australian culture and he did not mean to offend the Indians."

the ausi himself agrees abt their culture of using such abusive language. for them its culture but for getting back the same in return is racial abuse for them.

4-0. The seris is already fixed. India had best chances of winning in Sydney & Adeilade. But the Aussies are determined to win by hook or crook.

Match fixing
by Rationalist on Jan 09, 2008 11:14 PM  | Hide replies

What happened in Sydney is not just umpiring blunder. But the way all the umpires including third umpire ruling close decisions & also not close decisions against India is a clear case of match fixing. Either the board or the capitan must have taken the umpires into confidence. But the irony is even after fixing they took 7 balls less than 5 days in defeating the Indians. It just shows how desperate they were for recording 16 wins that they did'nt even show courtesy of wishing the loosing team. May be they know they did'nt deserve the win.
The media espesially Indian must highlight this as match fixing & not umpiring mishaps. Not just the integrity of Aussie players to be put under scanner but also of Australian board's who have done all these under single minded intention of proving their champion status.

You hit the nail on the head. Probably Indian fans & supporters did not make such allegations. But the way these guys McGrath && co reacting negatively to the corrective measures it is high time we let them know what we have understood by these incedents. @hindublogger it is too much to expect tailender, No11 batsmen to save a match which is already fixed.
Inference is no point in acting in fixed matches. Better boycot playing in that continent.

Dude ..all the public is being fooled nothing else .. BCCI,ICC CA all are closely linked.BCCI cant afford to go against CA since ICL threat is looming large. Was BCCI sleeping when Bucknor was drafted in for the series? Given the fact his standard has gone down in the last 2 years? Now they have just set one more wrong precedence by asking for the removal of umpire .which I believe is not good for the game.

Well for that our team has to show some spine right? They should get into he habit of winning. Some say its national pride blah blah ..do you think these guys have some amount of that in them? I doubt.. if they had they would have been fighting it out in the same vein as our soldiers do on our borders.Media and fans tend to forget the decisions we get in our favour too ..if you have watched the highlights of the Sydney test Laxman was plumb on 16 and Sachin was plumb on 36 ..except for a couple of newspapers ..none projected those ..
