Ponting is afraid of bhajji
by Kannepalli Sreekanth on Jan 09, 2008 12:56 PM

Ponting is unable to play over bhajji in traditional cricket style and has resorted to using Symonds as a puppet to pull bhajji out of the tour

Ponting
by HariOm Chawla on Jan 08, 2008 06:16 PM

Ponting and his other Australian team mates have done a disscervice to cricket. They have converted the game into war which is not meant to be enjoyed but to be won at at cost, by hook or by crook. Having faced so much disrespect, Indian team should come back and vow never to play Australians in their country unless the Austrailians change their attitude, improve their behavior and show respect to the visitors.

New umpires Mr.Ponting and team the crying babies
by Sree Hari on Jan 08, 2008 05:24 PM

It is a wrong match with wrong team and hopeless umpires of the world. If ponting is the one who decides wether its out or not the why we need the umpires. Does any one know what is the role of third umpire, why is he always calm unless he is aproached for any decision. When all the replays show its not out and unfortunately the umpire in the ground declares it out, why do the third umpire sits without responding, and its a very much known fact about the crying babies, Mr. Ponting and team i have no words to praise their skills of crying and complaining aganist the opposition team. Get well soon Mr.Ponting u can't cry and win matches in future.

Bad Boy of Australia !!

What does it mean by free to play? Does it mean Harbhajan singh has just took a "Stay" against his ban or he is free of guilty?
I think this whole Aussies episode has been delt quite badly which they shouldn't. Aussies really set up a really bad example of going to the umpires for everything asked against them on the field and I think because of this they won't be able to use "Mental Disintegration" tactic on the field any more, they must now tape their mouth in future on the field in future!
I think you really did wrong Mr. Ponting by acting crying babies and it will only backfire you in future!!
I am with Mr. Roebuck on his statement on Ponting.

Ian Chappell is an interesting name. Even the Channel Nine commentator of that name (has a brother or two, you might recall) might agree with some of what you say.

Ian Chappell, you son't seem to be real one! for the first time, Arrogant Aussies have got befitting reply. they are screaming. They always bullied field, specially against asian countries. The Pet umpires helped them in doing so. Now they have been caught and see the extreme of shamelessness! they are still adamant and insist on being right. disgusting! 70% of money in cricket comes from India, Still they bully and want to win with every possible cheat or lie! If India protests and refuses to take this injustice, Aussie media says "India is Blackmailing". Shame on Ponting, his team, cheat umpires and bundle of lies; Australian media!

1) Ricky Ponting %u2013 (THE TRULY GENUINE CRICKETER OF THE CRICKET ERA AND WHOSE INTEGRITY SHOULD NOT BE DOUBTED ) should be considered as the FOURTH UMPIRE. As per the new rules, FOURTH UMPIRE decision is final and will over ride any decisions taken by any other umpires. ON-FIELD umpires can seek the assistance of RICKY PONTING even if he is not on the field. This rule is to be made, so that every team should understand the importance of the FOURTH UMPIRE .

(2) While AUSTRALIAN TEAM is bowling, If the ball flies anywhere close to the AUSTRALIAN FIELDER(WITHIN 5 metre distance), the batsman is to be considered OUT irrelevant of whether the catch was taken cleanly or grassed. Any decision for further clarification should be seeked from the FOURTH UMPIRE. This is made to ensure that the cricket is played with SPORTIVE SPIRIT by all the teams.

(3) While BATTING, AUSTRALIAN players will wait for the ON-FIELD UMPIRE decisions only (even if the catch goes to the FIFTH SLIP as the ball might not have touched the bat). Each AUSTRALIAN batsman has to be out FOUR TIMES (minimum) before he can return to the pavilion. In case of THE CRICKETER WITH INTEGRITY, this can be higher.

(4) UMPIRES should consider a huge bonus if an AUSTRALIAN player scores a century. Any wrong decisions can be ignored as they will be paid huge bonus and will receive the backing of the AUSTRALIAN team and board.

(5) All AUSTRALIAN players are eligible to keep commenting abo

Rashid Latif, Pakistan's captain, has been banned for five one-day internationals after being found guilty of violating the International Cricket Council's Code of Conduct during the third Test against Bangladesh at Multan.

This means that Latif will miss the entire one-day series against Bangladesh. Inzamam-ul-Haq has been named captain in Latif's enforced absence. Kamran Akmal will keep wicket.

Mike Procter, the match referee, upheld a complaint made by the Bangladesh team. Speaking at a press conference after the meeting, Procter said ""I have listened to both parties at length and feel there is good evidence against Latif."

Bangladesh lodged an official protest on Saturday, claiming that Latif knowingly claimed a dropped catch during the day's play. It is alleged that Latif failed to tell the umpire that he had grounded the ball which dismissed Alok Kapali.

Latif appeared to pull off a spectacular take flying in front of first slip, but television replays showed the ball popping out of his gloves as he got up from the floor after rolling over twice.

"As captain a lot of responsibility falls of Rashid Latif and he committed a serious offence by claiming that (unfair) catch which constitutes un

FOOLS OF THE WORLD
by Avadhoot Dalvi on Jan 08, 2008 03:23 PM

Ricky and your gang of dogs, who are you fooling around. Just check with your own family members who were watching the match on the TV screens and they will tell you that you are fooling around and playing with the sentiments of the Indians and the Indian team. I guess we should ban the Australians from playing with all the asian countries and never go or welcome them to play amongst us for ever. Just wait and see MR. POINTING your turn will also come when all the australian team will be shameful of your cricket game. See West Indies were world champions for so long and now the whole world can see where they stand. This situation is also going to come on your way. And you will be a biggest disaster to your own country. I am definately sure that the Australian people will sack you out from their own country for such a behaviour of MR. POINTING. You fool every day you are going past the records of our great Indian batsmen but what is the use of it when you are not a good human being BUT A CLEAR RAUDY DOG.
