Mr waugh ,
You are saying the whole should understand that sledging is part of autralian culture, but if other players do the same your players turn that into racial abuse. Is that also part of your culture? Why dont you guys understand calling some body monkey is not racial but name calling? There is no need to have any rrelationship with a country if they think every body has to put up with their bad behaviour because it is aAustralia.

You guys arrogantly declare that that is the way you play your cricket. may be that is the way you win. This is a start. Now you will see every nation opposing "Australian way of " playing cricket.I you guys dont shape up you will be international Pariah of cricket.

I would like to point out the fact that if Aussies think that sledging and dominating to the extreme over any side is ok especially when they have home advantage .. days are not far when the other sides return the gesture and it might turn the international cricket into a wrestling arena !!

Culture is different from discipline
by karthik shankar on Jan 08, 2008 03:39 PM  | Hide replies

I don't understand what steve means by his comments. If steve's boys' are following australian culture they should just play among themselves. When they enter the international arena, they need to understand the others culture to respect everybody. Ur banter at home is not necessarily decent in the public steve. Please stop defending your sledging with cultural background. If not, stop complaining to the umpires like cry babies...

ind vs. aussie
by Shanker Shetty on Jan 08, 2008 02:09 PM  | Hide replies

NO DOUBT, INDIANS BATTED POORLY! NO POINT IN TALKING ABOUT UMPIRING, BULSHIT AND WHAT NOT.. IN SIMPLE WORDS, BATSMEN FAILED INDIA'S CHANCES OF AT LEASTING DRAWING BOTH MATCHES, MISERABLY. POOR UMPIRING IS A STRAY CASE, WHAT ABOUT THE BLOODY MIGHTY INDIAN, HOW MUCH SCORE THEY DID IN THE 2ND INNINGS OF FIRST AND 2ND TEST. IN SIXER SIDHU'S OWN WORDS INDIAN BATSMEN WERE FALLING LIKE CYCLE STAND!

Shankar Shetty,

You r the foolest person and do not have right to make such a comment in this blog.

Stupid, you have to understand that eight decision is gone against india and still india loose the match with just 122 runs or only seven balls remaining.

In such a situation, even if india played with 11 don bradmen or your best sportsman rick ponting , india could not save the taste.

You need to learn support, appriciate and even critise when they deserve but not wrongly.
