Did AUSSIE CRICKET BOARD BRIBE THE OFFICIALS????
by rajesh t on Jan 07, 2008 04:45 PM

I feel the Aussie cricket board bribed the umpires.A mistake can occur as an accident because we humans are prone to mistakes. But if the same mistake is repeated continuously then it is not an accident,IT IS AN INCIDENT.The umpires were meticulously playing hand and glove along with the cheaters(Aussie Team)to ensure the cheaters do not lose.A lots of dollars might have gone to the bank accounts of the umpires...The BCCI should lodge a candidate with the ICC to find out any money was involved.....

Hey u Dirty Australians

This is the letter of mine which has been forwarded to all the australian news agencies.

Hello all Australians!!!!

Myself an Indian and a keen follower of cricket which is not a gentleman's game anymore(courtesy u guyz).
Sydney Cricket Test match was marred by umpiring blunders and conduct of the players. The prime reason for this i beleive was aussies were hell bent on equalling the world record for consecutive test wins and wanted to win either by hook or crook which in the end was achieved in the most infamous way corresponding with the underarm bowling of Greg Chappel's team.
We Indians were never jealous of the success of the australian team coz we love competitive and proffessional approach that they bring on to the field.Unfortunately for the last few years u guyz are also bringing along the audacity that u can get away doing anything on the field in the name of aggression.
We get to read in newspapaers about the fine imposed on Indian cricketers for slightest of the dissent or verbal interaction,,but never have we come across an australian (or any white for that matter) being fined, tell us who's racist,,Indians or u guyz or ICC?
Every cricket lover around the world is pretty much aware how u guyz conduct urselves on the field and wtz the level of comfort u ve while on the field with the opposition team members.Barring Adam Gilchrist none of the aussie

Every cricket lover around the world is pretty much aware how u guyz conduct urselves on the field and wtz the level of comfort u ve while on the field with the opposition team members.Barring Adam Gilchrist none of the aussie players have the spirit to appreciate good cricket,,shame on you.If you are allowed to play this beautiful game for another 10 years i dont see any of the players taking the field without a dagar or a revolver.
Last but not the least...India have history of a great heritage and culture of thousands of years,we respect each and every individual on this earth but it should not be seen as our weakness.Im sure the booming India will give you guyz a fitting reply in the coming years.Jai Hind.

Nobody can question Ricky's integrity because
by jaguar info tech on Jan 07, 2008 12:19 PM

) he doesnt have one
2) here is a guy who has gone for deaddiction for his admitted drinking problems
3) Felt it was okay to squeeze the back side of a middle aged lady in a party in Calcutta
4) Abuses Srinath when he was hit by his bouncers and Srinath asked him out of concern
5) He puts down a set of rules for the series and expects only the indian team to follow it.
6) He is a born cheat as his favorite past time is gambling and betting on Dogs.

I am a psychiatrist and remember no mad patient will agree that he is mad that is what Ponting was telling that he has an integrity but has lost it when he was born. I THINK I STILL HAVE a chance to cure this guy but I HONESTLY FEEL OUR BCCI guys require it in the first place. THIS GUYS CANNOT TAKE MY COUNTRYS PRIDE For granted

a lost game dominated by umpiring mistakes-BCCI failed miserably
by RAM CHANDRAN on Jan 07, 2008 12:04 PM  | Hide replies

It is true that the a game was dominated by umpiring mistakes, but we have to accept the fact that some of our players - Dhoni, Yuvraj, Jaffer played poor cricket. It is also a fault of the team managament who decided to continue the match even after the controversial umpiring decisions on 1st and 2nd days, see one has to realise the fact that even the best team in the world can't afford those mistakes, the sole responsibility is for BCCI. They behaved like mentally handicapped people, not reacting immedialtely.

jaffer is in poor form.Yuvi is worried that he was selected for test series. If he was not selected he would have gone to deepika to hotels,beaches..etc.dhoni would be crying for missing deepika. Both yuvi and dhoni r not gud in playing in Aussie conditions.moreover their focus on Deepika is morethan on Cricket.

I think its better to rest Yuvi and bring in Sehwag and in place of Ishant Sharma bring in Pathan and then lets see what happens.
And give 1 more chance to Jaffer as he is the only specialized opener and if in the next test he cand do then it wud be curtains for him in Aus Tour.

Shameless BCCI
by bsnl bsnl on Jan 07, 2008 12:04 PM

We may recall era of Jagmohan Dalmiya and South Africa Tour. Present BCCI is incapable and shameless and is putting India's pride at stake. They don't know eve the basics of negotiation. Team should be called back immediately and if BCCI doesn't have the money, same may be got colloected from the fans.

unofficial?
by ramana murty on Jan 07, 2008 12:03 PM

If BCCI really puts its point strongly before ICC and convinces ICC to make this test as unofficial, that would be a new wonder in the world.Agony is that without BCCI and indian team ICC cannot develop game of Cricket. We(BCCI) r super powers of Cricket in the world, but we (BCCI) behave as the sincere slave (not even servants )of ICC.Sorry state of affairs

What about an another umpire?
by BHS on Jan 07, 2008 12:01 PM

What about an another umpire whose 1 blunder was as good as all the blunders made by Buckner. Why did he asked about Sourav's Catch to Ponting? He should not do it and even ponting must be banned for few tests for his oversmartness.

Very true...The umpire is suppose to ask the co umpire or straight away go for the 3rd umpire but asking the opposition is ridiculous and atrocious. but BCCI is profit making organization, so, they will try to maximize the best profit out of this controversy and the dealings out of this situation.
its pity that WE as Indian Team Fans cant do anything but to let the tour go on and add misery to our problems.
