Nullify the second test
by Francis Josephkumar on Jan 08, 2008 02:28 AM

Aussies did dirty tricks to win this test match for the sake of some records. So BCCI should also press for removal of this test from the records.

My foot! If technology is taboo why the hell do you use for runouts and stumping? But what can one do when the third umpire is blind.

We must appreciate Bucknor?????...Yes,Has shown that it is not required for the batsmen to bat or bowl, umpires can change the course.Umpires are the man of the match. They fought graetly for Oz and ensured that they win.....What an audacoty of Benson, who asked permission from Ponting,to judge Ganguly out....Yuvraj must be replaced by Deepika Padukone and look how Dhoni plays then

Sportsmanship and Australians - Symonds

We have the cricketers like Gavaskar, Kapil, Azhar, Sachin, Dravid and more who never waits for the Umpire Signals. If they found that its out then why should we wait for Umpire signal. But the australians have the fear of series loss because they lost early wickets.

This test must be remembers for the cheating of Australians with Umpires. Cricket is the game of sportman ship and ethic, if you are honest then why wait for umpire ?

After scopring number of run if you say I was out at this score, then what is the logic to accept it, if you thing you were out then you just quit the ground why you admit the same at the end of the day and blaiming on Umpire he has not given out, there is a fault of umpire but Symond is equally responible for that. Once Symonds has accepted that he was out then whre is refery and ICC ? Why they have not taken any actions against him ?

ICC has to change the rules and restrict the role of ground umpires only for noballs and wides because there is need of use of technology and the power must be given for out and not out to third umpire.

The role of refery are always doubtful for our cricketers whether the refery if Ranjan Madhugalle or any GORA ? But why we are keeping quite ? Ganguly had been banned.

Where were the match refery when Pakistan skipper has given a bowling to S Malik during the match at Ahmedabad and period he had been banned to bowl.

It is well known that cricket is more famour due to Asian crickets then why we shou

it has been observed last two decades how the aussies do sledging and use abusive language and this tour was no different. what is most disgusting is that ICC allows a umpire to work even after 60 and a young umpires ask questiones to feilding captain to confirm his doubt !!? what the hell was the match refree doing ? was he tourist or is he there for some purpose? the appointment of match refree and third umpire looked ridiculous on this forgettable test. i strongly feel that india should not return and play remaining match and match the aussies in every aspect even if it means competing in slangs and sledging !

Total dishonesty
by Sanjeev Athale on Jan 05, 2008 06:19 AM

Do you expect that dishonest man symonds & his captain ponting to walk off if they are out , impossible infact they are trying to get bhajji out on racial pretext as ponting cannot play bhajji. If the complaint cannot be proved by symonds then he should face lifetime ban & his captain crook in cheif should face 10 match ban.

Cricket is no longer a gentleman's game. if umpires give wrong decisions, then players must tell the truth and move to the pavilion.

Is it fixing?
by Ashish Kumar on Jan 03, 2008 10:05 PM  | Hide replies

Are the umpires involved in match fixing? It is difficult to understand why Bucknor refused to refer the appeal for stumping of Symonds to the third umpire. And even more puzzling is the team management's decision not to file a complain with the ICC.

Oh c'mon.....it is pretty simple to understand why Bucknor refused to refer the appeal to the Third Umpire. He was given nice green pieces of paper with kangaroos all over it......probably a million of them.
