RE:10 practice matches before each test match ( tour schedule 1 year tour to australia )
by suresh keval on Jan 03, 2008 04:17 AM
lol that was funny dude, well said! some idiots always want to search justification for our worthless player's failures. As long as we play with chalta hai attitude, we can NEVER ever beat Australia. May be 1 match or one series but not consistently.

hectic schedule
by Arvind Ramakrishnan on Jan 02, 2008 02:49 PM

yes, it is indeed a very gruelling schedule for team india. there was NO NEED TO PLAY THE 7 one-dayers with aussies last october, why bcos, they might hve got some time before the tour of australia. why they played the 7 ODIs i don't know. and they should hve played ATLEAST 2 PRACTISE matches down under. so, it's very difficult for them to win there, they can, but it's NOT AT ALL EASY.

HATS OFF TO BCCI !!
by rajendra agrawal on Jan 02, 2008 01:59 PM  | Hide replies

BCCI NEEDS TO BE CONGRATULATED FOR THEIR GREAT SUCCESSFUL MARKETING OF EVEN THE WORST (AND OLDEST)INDIAN SIDE TO HAVE TOURED AUSTRALIA.
AT LEAST THE MONEY EARNED WILL HELP THESE OLDIES AS WELL AS (MAY BE) THE DOMESTIC CRICKETERS (WHO PLAY MATCHES IN EMPTY STADIA).

The worst side to have toured Australia was the 91/92 side led by Azharuddin. Srikanth clicked in ODI's and Tendulkar and Kapil did with his bat and ball in both tests and ODI's. Prabhkar and Raju bowled well

Apart from Tendulkar, Kapil and to some extent Prabhakar and Srikanth the entire team was a completely rubbish.

This team is miles ahead of that sore bunch of losers

MONEY
by vinta on Jan 02, 2008 09:50 AM

The motivation behind for BCCI is money, money. Until they are getting plenty that too after losing they will not change.

The question is to understand where the money is coming from. The fans. Untill we are crazy about it., sponsers will flow.

kicks the shubh chintaks out of BCCI
by raj on Jan 02, 2008 09:28 AM

why do rajeev shukla, niranjan shah, and many such jokers hang around in BCCI forever ? do they own BCCI ? they should make it clear. its time the indian fans get together against bcci and kick their butt for making a massive mess of bcci. they also control cricket in the world for nothing, like for example, when ICL came up, they had a covert covenant, a kind of a blackmail to other boards against money to oppose the ICL and player joining it. subash chandra of zee is another prime idiot in not making ICL free for all to view, instead he made is pay on zee channel only, and ended up looking like a loser.

Better Privatize BCCI
by Sudhagar Krishnasamy on Jan 02, 2008 03:44 AM

ICL has shown what private sector can do to the game. It's time, all the players revolt against the burn out and bring in an admin team comprising real cricketers. A plea to the politicians! you have enough in hand to service the public who elected you, please keep away from sports and games....
