Thanks for this link, It's a real eye opener. I think we need to make Australians see the link and they shall shut their stinky mouth forever.

Instead of indulging in verbal umbrage, it is better to beat them in their own game, by taking wickets aplenty. Come on Bhaji, You can do it.

If it was so easy we will do that. It is like saying get rid of poverty in India first and then do other things.

But easy or difficult do it we must, ain't it Calspadeaspade?
Or do you think getting rid of poverty in India is not worth attempting?
:-)

Hey Ritwik:
Keep your hat on..
There is no linkage between Gavaskar / Shastri's commentary and the Aussie performance, so lets keep it separated.. :-)

No one is weeping (at least I am not) on Haydo's histrionics on radio.. in fact its pure entertainment.. a curtain raiser for the exciting finals next week..

Uthappa will score what he will score. Let's worry about that when the match starts and he comes in to bat.. if we watch the match carefully, we will know that eventually.

Ishant has been blasted on a batsman friendly pitch. Fair enough. So was Lee, despite Indians being on the mat at 4/51. So no quarters given or taken on that count.

If someone seems to be weeping or limping, thats shameful, as rightly pointed out by you. As for the sucker punch, it's not yet delivered by anyone. So let's wait and watch.

I'm all for some exciting finals.. Bring them on boys, Go Team India!

Cheers!

Well done Ritwik, you have earnt your firstmedal towards becoming an aussie by passing a vile racist remark!! How else will you explain calling an umpire a blackie??

You may still have to rape, murder and discriminate the aborigines to become a full aussie. But Im sure a bigot like you will find the path easy.

When Aussies fear their citadle shaking or under threat, they use all the tactics and tricks of the trade including sledging to over-power their opponents. And, when cought in the web or found over-stepped their brief, start wagging their tails and lickingthe feet of their'Aakaz' for mercy. Indians should not allow themselves distracted by all these bullshits and play their natural game.

Aus score on table is 26 points after 7 matches and India's after 8 is 17. Who is losing what ? Are we becoming more brainless like our big mouthed Harbhajan ?

I am a proud Indian, says Harbhajan.
by The Achilles on Feb 28, 2008 03:05 PM  | Hide replies

A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is an Australian. She asks her students to raise their hands if they were Australian too. Not really knowing why but wanting to be like their teacher, their hands explode into the air like flashy fireworks. but one has not gone along with the crowd.
The teacher asks him why he has decided to be different. "Because I am not an Australian." "I'm a proud Indian," boasts the little boy.
The teacher is a little perturbed now, She asks Harbhajan why he is an Indian."Well", my mom and dad are Indians, "so I'm an Indian too." The teacher is now angry."That's no reason", she says loud"if your mom was an idi*ot, and your dad was an idi*ot, what would you be then?""Then" says Harbhajan,"I'd be an Australian."

Crap. Australia is among the top 10 nations in terms of Human Development Index and India is 128.
Let us shut our traps and keep focussing on how we could bring ourselves up !

What has Human Development Index got to do with a bout of harmless playful banter?.. :-)

Australia is behind US in many indices, but that doesn't stop them having the banter themselves.. If they were like you, they'd have waited till they became top in everything before they opened their mouths.. :-)

Just needling you mate.. don't take it otherwise.. Cheers.. ;-)

Why, is there something wrong with harmless playful banter, Ritwik?.. :-)
Worried that such jokes will be censored off on Brisbane Radio?
Don't worry, this is Rediff India, this stuff is not going out on Brisbane Radio.. :-)
