Once a camel baby asked her mother , why have we hump on our back ? Mother replied that it helps them to store water. Why do we have spongy feet? Asked baby. It helps to walk better in desert, was the answer. Why do we have so big eyelids? Was the next question. It protects them from desert hurricanes. Then what are we doing in the zoo? So the question is , if hayden is so fond of boxing, why is he playing cricket? I am sure our boxers are good enough to take care of him than probably he would have challenged them for cricket.
Ishant Sharma has earned name and fame on his own at the age of 19 all over the world (including AUSTRALIA). Had any of the Indian heard of anything like 'HAYDEN' 17 years back (when hayden was 19 years old)??? I doubt.... And if yes, they might be thinking that it is another breed to some sort of a dirty animal like donkey or pig
The aussies have free use of words like F---, motherf-----,b------- and so on on the field. These words are those that i have never uttered in anger against anyone all my life. They are edited out of movies and even discussion boards. I definitely wouldn't like my kids to learn them. But there is only one place in the media where kids can learn it--watching a match involving Australia. Ok i admit it is in their culture to use such words under the banner of sledging and isnt thought of as offensive in their country. But why do we have to expose our culture to such abuse? So my view is sledging or not all abusive words should be banned in public places especially on a sport that is being televised. You can sledge without being abusive. Hogg may think calling the Indians B------ is light hearted banter but abuse is abuse. I feel it should be banned on the cricket filed-do all u can in private but please please not in public view. And then start explaining in the papers why you used that word. All abusing should be banned and invite heavy penalties. Playing hard doesn't give the license to abuse fellow players and make them angry so that they reply back and get punished--the inciters should be punished too.

ICC has a special dictionary of legal abuse which only Aussies are privy to.So the words of abuse according to common defintion is not a swear words if spoken by the Aussies. This is strictly between ICC and Aussies only. As for racist remark once Botham told Clive Lloyd "Hey Hubert ,You are a racist and Lloyd was shocked.Botham said "you are drinkining black coffee".No body used to go to town on these issues to lead Boards to hires top corporate lawyers to fight such cases.

Nice comment mate........... I will be in stadium to watch second finals between India and Aus
Rediff's title should rather be "Australian cricketers behaviour getting out of control" and not "sledging getting out of hand". Agreed that some kind of tiff do occur on field but no other country is using sledging as a weapon.
The only option left for BCCI now is to cheat on all home tours (this option to be used against aussie cheats only), appoint umpires in the middle with instructions to cheat... appoint third country match refrees, for e.g some srilankan or newzealand or south african or anyone who can be bought. And make sure all test matches are won by India & all one day games are won by india. Most importantly find someone in ICC who can help you. Reprimand and fine heavily all aussie cricketers who try to raise their voice against this , on any silly pretext. Manipulate the media astutely to spread anti-Aussie propaganda. Like they are cry babies, they do not have the mental strength to face the Indian team..etc..etc. You can very well, justify all this cheating by calling it calling it mental disintegration. We have to do this%u2026there is no other option left now, bcos we have to show the aussies that if we can compete in cricket, then we can compete and defeat them in cheating as well.
