Win Win Position
by man negi on Feb 26, 2008 03:33 PM  | Hide replies

Australian make a strategy for each players then why should not we. We are the best team in the world. Why should not our Indian skipper and our all players make a strategy to win win situation. I know our team have resources, skilled manpower and best tricks then why we do not play just like a professional cricketer. I want to tell you one thing that forget everything and improve yourself and don%u2019t worry about your senior junior level during the match period. We called that team Sikandar, who can win the match with best policy. Please consider on my request and keep in mind. Don%u2019t take it otherwise. I want to see Indian Team in first position always. I know how can I defeated insider and outsider several times and our winning ratio is better than other Cricket team.

My email id is man_069@rediffmail.com

Dear Murli...
What is your problem ?? I am sorry but you deserve this only. When u migrate learn to respect the land where u live. The same is not followed and they think that this land is like your own land where you can abuse anyone, disrespect the lcoalites. If this happens...all those who disrespect the land...will have to face the consequences..

Needs the North Indian influence, so that Marathis can produce saints like Laloo, Mayawati, Mulayam Singh, Rajiv ( Bofors) Gandhi, Bhajan Lal, Chautala etc.

i'm surprized to see that we are fighting on useless grounds.

Why dont our team learn to use and handle the sledging and aggresive behaviour and provocations.

Whatever austrlian do, cant we complain it properly, when we use similar abusive language cant our player learn which words fall into which category and use them accordingly.

Its very simple, either learn the rules, practice the sledging or get the rules changed.

Look we are not as mature as aussies they use sledging as a tool (that means the abusive word come from tactic not from heart). where we say bad word from heart (this is the difference between two teams...one is profession and other one ours is either say innocents or say fools)

too long a tour
by Ravi Nayak on Feb 26, 2008 03:26 PM  | Hide replies

This tour has gone on for far too long, i hope the BCCI and the other big wigs of Indian cricket realise that such long tours not only tire out the cricketers but also make the game stale for the fans. With IPL & ICL and what have you also due to take off there surely is going to be a cricket overkill, this will only rob the game of its sheen.

Hi Indian Team,
Even if you make a win in the finals dont celebrate it, instead get a function and hand over the cup to Aussies.
Also dont forget to pay fine to ICC for winning the finals against Aussies

Maturity
by Deepak Venkatasubbaiah on Feb 26, 2008 03:09 PM  | Hide replies

Fnz, Anybody who has played some kind of competetive cricket would understand sledging is a part of the game. It is playing on your mental make-up. Ausseis have mastered it. Look when pointing abuses he does it not close to the stump mikes with no gestures and so does symmo. We YUVA bharat get carried away and make guestures in full glare of the camera. Learn from Shakuni's and Krishna's of yester INDIA. Use your brains before we give it back. We are behaving like cry babies. Comon Folks grow up. The avg age of current indian team is 7 Yrs lesser than Aussies. They are playing on our immaturity. Poking us to lose cool and respond.

no dont sit like monkeys of Gandhiji but deal with the situation with tact so that it goes back to the precipitator. If you dont have tact then walk away rather than be called up by the match referee. We must not act like babies running to mama.

That won't be a bad idea.

Maturity is not reacting to provocation. Focusing on job at hand instead of distractions. The whole provocation will be futile, when you refuse to react and execute your job.

Besides, by reacting you gain nothing but loose focus. If a mad man makes face at you, laugh at him and move on, don't try to make a face at him too!!

Sledging is second nature to Ausses. They are born and brought up that way.Nobody can match them in sledging skills honed over more than 30 years under various illustrious captains like Ian Chappell,Greg Chappell and now Pointing. It is the lack of will on the part of ICC the boneles wonder that this barbaric practice has assumed mostrous proportions. Now it is time all cricket playing nations come together and decide whether to legalise this or hand over life ban to any player found sleging.
