players of both the teams earn. let them earn. but y fine only on indians.

v need to protest. its not fair trial. if doing crime is wrong, even abettment of crime is also wrong n punishable in court of law.
n here ausis start hurling abuses at us but r not punished, but if v retaliate even in mildest manner then v get punished.
bull shit of icc. bcci shud in fact, protest n not allow deduction of fine of even 15 % from ishant. dont pay those fines n protest icc.
its just enough of biased icc against asians. players like ishant shud file complaint in court of law for the injustice by icc.

Nothing new.
by Sunil Dharam on Feb 26, 2008 04:42 PM  | Hide replies

This is nothing new, this is history repeating itself over and over again in Australia. Aussies players will start the abusing the opponent player on cricket field if the opponents react to it in kind, then it becomes a controversy, aussies lodge a complaint against the opposing team and the opposing team gets penalized for however trivial the matter, Aussies get away however heinous the crime. However in this case Symmonds did not complain to the match referee, the referee must have acted either on his own or must have been provoked by Cricket Australia officials.
How can anyone penalize a player who is reacting to an abuse, without first considering the fact that he was not the perpetrator of the crime, but was only reacting in a given situation? Where is Justice in this?? Or is it too much to ask the white skinned people of this world ( not all ) and particularly Australians to be fair to all??
Or have i become a racist too?? Too many questions, too much confusion, mission accomplished??

shame on india.
symonds once again involved in abusing ishant sharma after he was bowled, in reply ishant didnt say anything just asked him to go to pavilion.
now just watch the drama after match. biased n blind ump n icc referees impose fine on ishant for the so-called misbehaviour n symonds monk*y is untouched.
sym as player may b good but bad as a personality. but v ind hv given him second highest price in ipl. shame on india. shame on those industrialists bidding him. shame on those who will watch these rubbish ipl.
symonds is mn* ky but indians r do*ky n all these industrialists shud b dumped to the arabian sea who r without any self respect for the country. sorry to say that but i m frustrated by our own ppl.

if ishant is fined by referee for his outburst against sym. then what abt sym who started it?
v need to show our protest in action against biased icc.

we shouldn't allow any aussie players to be part of IPL.
time & again asians, especially indians are caught on the wrong foot. the whites are let scot free.

Shouldn't we protest against this??

Ideally a campaign against the aussies shoud go on.

they are targeting our players who does well and keep them under pressure.

Come on India. Wakeup

Why we need arogent Australians in IPL?
by Mandar Patankar on Feb 26, 2008 07:49 AM  | Hide replies

On one side BCCI doing complaints about Australians players and on other side they are giving maximum payment to them, why such opposite behaviour?
There are many deserving players in India itslef, to whom BCCI can give laess amount of what they are offering to Australians.
BAN AUSATRALIANS FROM IPL.

Yuo guys are a real bunch of cry baby losers, blame everything on the Aussies when you just plainly suck at cricket against us,

then make comments about warne, mcgrath, slater & waugh being heros to you guys, man you guys need to get off the marajuana as you seem to have short term memory loss as they were the biggest sledgers in the game in their time, just continue to make crap up as you go.

maybe you are just plainly pissed that we have won everything in the last 2 decades & India hasn't, heres a box of tissues to wipe your tears & have 20 cents from me so you can phone somebody who cares for your stupid as comments

Same as last year when CB cup was sour grapes.... this year too...mate. .. you HAVE won EVERYTHING in last 2 decades.. :-)
I mean what a swagger...
Keep your box of tissues mate.. You certainly require it for the coming 3 years at least.. :-)
And hopefully you would have used your 20 cents into some profitable venture, like calling up Ponting and advising him how to hold his bat.. :-)
Cheers!

Because our players will get the chance to learn a lot more like techniques, keeping the wickets intact, fielding dept, bowling and batting dept etc. as these players are the real athletes having potential in sports.

because if you have been asleep for the last 2 decades i will spell it out for you 'Australian cricket players are the best in the world' that might explain why you need them, what a sucky competition if Ozzies wern't there.

Is it?.. :-)
So Ponting fetching less than Dhoni shows that he is an inferior player to Dhoni?
:-)
Anyway, we are watching the tri series, and really what a sucky competition the Ozzies are providing.. not at all the once formidable greats that the Ozzies were..
I would have settled down for Warne, McGrath, Slater, Waugh any day, as true greats, who are lifting the overall competitive level..
This bunch?.. :-(
Ponting struggling with his bat, giving catch practice to slips; Lee being swatted over his head and in the stands by rookies; Gilly already retired, so no glamour from him; Symonds obviously selected to keep the Indian crowds interested (the same way Bhajji keeps the Aussies charged up.. :-)

Take your bat and ball home you wanking Aussies, we don't want you here.. :-)

Training camp to learn the art of sledging!
by Gorango Thakurta on Feb 25, 2008 11:25 PM  | Hide replies

A pattern is emerging from the unsavory stuff going on between the Indians and the Ozzies. The Ozzies have mastered the art of cursing without getting caught. Some of the Indians are sensitive and react to the provocation - and foolishly attract the punishment. Essentially, to get even with the Ozzies, Indians will need to master the art of smart cursing. And not to let this nonsense get under the skin. As well, for the sake of their own future credibility, the Ozzies need to muzzle this Symonds guy... he is one genuine piss-off artist.

There is nothing called smart cursing and foolish cursing, there are basically only two things, either you can play a fairly or unfairly. It cannot be that one team is fairly and the other team is not. Will you call what happened in the @nt Test at Sydney as smart cursing. That was the starting point, once you cheat and manage to get away with it, then you get the psycological upper hand..more so if there is a scope that you can cheat further and get away with it too, Aussies have this advantage on a cricket field.

Think and ACT....
by Kakes on Feb 25, 2008 11:07 PM  | Hide replies

We should neither be emotional nor to be stupid.. We need to handle it with much more maturity and intelligence.. They are playing mind game and would probably be laughing all their way with the way we responded, exactly the way they planned it. They were provocative and we were too stupid to fall into the trap... What we should have done is pay them back in a much more thought out and planned manner..

a) Target the gullible, especially the symmo variety.. Just smile to him and systematically sledge, and provoke well within the permissible limits... Use any south indian language and shower him with choicest swear words... and laugh making him fully aware that we are making fun of him or rather swearing him... or just paste smiles and just poke him gently with nuggets like - "we know why you are having zinc cream always on your lips because you might be over using it for pleasing your ICC bosses... and of course our IPL bosses"... hit him where it really hurts... but be clearly aware of the racial rules and icc strictures...

b) When they provoke, Gandigiri is the best weapon, smile with folded hands, may be a namasthe posture.. that's enough to punch where it really hurts..

no more cries over split milk.. injustice... just grow up mates... and give them back... (if any reader of this opinion can pass this to indian team think tank.. it should be great

Exactly! Indians are falling into the trap. And the Aussi newspapers reinforce it by saying Indians have had the most # of penalties!

now why do you have the most penalties, once again its easier to blame a cricket side who has no power in the umpires decisions instead of looking at your own team & start blaming them, stop doing shit on the field & it ends,
