DONT WATCH IPL
by Ram on Feb 26, 2008 08:15 AM

IPL HAS UNSPORTY PLAYERS LIKE SYMONDS, PONTING, GILLY(WHO SEEMS TO BE NICE BOY, BUT HE WAS THE ONE, WHO CLAIMED WRONG CATCH OF DRAVID)...Being an Indian I will never ever watch IPL...Lets all Indians start this revolution of "DONT WATCH IPL TILL YOU REMOVE THOSE UNSPORTY GLAMOUR BLOKES"

I rather watch ICL.

Dhoni GLOVE vs Gilli Glove
by on Feb 25, 2008 11:49 PM  | Hide replies

I belive the commentators forgot to look and cameraman forgot to show the gilly glove, because gilli's glove was the same as dhoni. In addition per ICC rule, keeping glove shud be in sraight line between for finger and thunmb which both the keepers have violated the rule but dhoni was the scapegoat. I watched the 2nd innings where junkie aussie commentators didnt utter a word or not even thot to compare gilli's glove to dhonis... such an racist and self centric guys...

In a one day match the 2nd set of 50 overs is also referred to as the 'second innings' or '[name-of-batting-team] innings'. Both are fine.

You have just said one such incident. I have noted hundreds of such cases where aussie commentrators avoid blaming their players for bad conduct or even their umpires for poor decisions in favour of their players.

Dude. Stop replying to your own messages. It shows your inability to have a conversation. If you cannot offer anything to a discussion, why don't you run off and set fire to some kittens or something. That should keep you happy...

not the gloves, the man himself!
by Pookode Santhosh on Feb 25, 2008 05:37 PM  | Hide replies

not only the gloves, this idiotic self-centred man should be replaced from the team. he is constantly pointing to sachin and sehwag for the team's performance. what is his deputy doing? this man wants all sniors out of the team so that he can rule even if india fail. he is not thinking about india, but about himself only.
who isw this idiot to tak about sachin who has proved his mettle beyond everyone's doubt. sehwag may not have fired but he too has proven record.
it is high time to ignore the media hype for this self centered captain and give the mantle to someone like dinesh karthik or mohd. kaif.

Dhoni could not bat properly in Test matches. He knows only to swing the ball. He takes a very long time to score runs and that adds to the pressure on the other players around because the others think if he cannot tonk the ball, who else can? Now he is practising to play as if in Test matches. He should be stripped off captaincy for making anti-national statements and Sehwag should be made captain of India for all versions.

I think Dhoni should have known the rules! At least now the board can take time and spend some money to educate players with rules and about how to respond rubbish dished out by the aussies etc...

You are right Adguru. BCCI should consider atleast spending 0.01% of the gazillion USD it got in educating players about the rules and also to counter the Aussie rubbish...
