Another ICC Joke...

Quick write this down because I'm from Oz. Simmo had no place saying anyting to Sharma and if he was abusive (which I couldn't tell from the footage), then he should be suspended. What I could see from the footage was Sharma saying the *F* word five or six times. So (assuming Simmo did) they've both used abusive language, they should both be suspended. Instead they've fined Sharma for the most pathetic finger send off ever. On the scale of sendoffs out of ten, this was a 3. Hardly worth a fine.

And now a complaint because Harbi is called a mad boy. You have to be kidding. I guess though when you've got your way for so long, why not try the ridiculous. Have a good hard look at yourself Harbi, no one says anything to Tendulkar, Kumble, Dravid and others in the Indian team. You reap what you sow...

No, just being honest. Can't say I saw something I didn't see (or said something I didn't say (like some)). It was pretty clear what Sharma said repeatedly. I'm assuming Simmo did say something nasty, but regardless 1) Simmo shouldn't have said anything and should be held accountable and 2) Sharma still should be done for replying. If he's not adult enough now to ignore some nasty (but not racial) words then he shouldn't be playing international cricket.

Last time I looked I was from Oz.

i have only one feeling about all those people living in australia, that all are animals ( read chimpanzee or may be gorilla but definitely not maa-key ). They still have a long way to go before they learn how to behave in a human society. What Ponting and his bunch of monkeys keep on doing on field, is a typical example of animal behaviour

We appreciate your wise words but just a few larifications.
1. It is clear from replay and the body language of Symonds that he was not congratulating Ishanth.
2. You cud also clearly see from Ishanth's body language that he was shocked at Symonds's words and responded to the same in kind.
3. Thirdly about ignoring, please advise ur fellow countrymen to start behaving like gentleman moreover u cannot expect a fast bowler to not respond to such cheap behavior especially in the heat of the moment.
4. I would like u to recall the statement of Hansen when he did pullup Symonds for provoking even in case of Bhaji's racial abuse case. He has been very strongly advised to efrain from repeating the same, so Mr. Hauser you might do well to keep this in mind before issuing such thoughtless comments.
5. Symmonds would also do well to eep in mind the fat fee he would get playing in IPL and not resort to unnecessarily antogonizing the Indian fans by resporting to such cheap and purile tactics.

1) Fair enough. I still couldn't work out what he said though and as I suggested he had no place saying anything. So your point is???
2) Shocked. Shocked that a batsman would dare say anything. Ishant has given half a dozen sendoffs before this. He's given Ponting some royal ones and he said nothing. So once again, he had no right to reply. Unless your suggesting he lacks maturity???
3) Yes I can. Ever see Malcolm Marshall say anything? See point 2.
4) Once again, I said Simmo was out of line. Your point is (again) ???
5) Thats your problem, not mine. If your countries companies are dumb enough to give Simmo over $1M for 6 weeks work, they deserve what they get...

I appreciate your comments, but if your going to agree with me, just say so and save me a lot of typing....

Why sledging should be allowed? I think first ICC should ban Symonds if he doesn't stop involving in monkey things. Yes, Ishant's reply is not good. So he was fined. Now what about Symonds? It's because of him, India-Aus relations have been destroyed in this tour. Mr.Symmo, if you can't keep your mouth shut, please go and practice singing songs. At least that could make you a rock star

What Symonds and Ponting are doing is considered many as professionalism. Practicing all the wrong things at will and pretending as though nothing has been done! I am another Harbhajan or Ishant in the business world and am experiencing the same every now and then. Can anyone tell the so-called professionals what is exactly meant by professionalism?

Well well the same logic goes for Symonds. Nobody said anything to gilchrist, bret lee. why is it that its only poor symonds getting 'racially' or otherwise 'abused'

I agree; Symonds, Ponting and Hayden are thugs and liars who should be kept out of the IPL, but at the end of the day the corporates and the broadcasters only care about the money and not about national prestige even though we are being trampled on by the Aussies verbally all the time. Of-course, the fact that we are unable to respond by playing well doesn't help either but that is a different matter.

No dude. Our corporates are smart and they planned much better than the Aussies. When the Aussies come to India for participating in IPL, you will know what I mean.
