If the format of last world cup is retained, all four subcontinetal teams, including lowly, BD should do OK assuming each of them will be placed in four different pools as hosts.
If new format is used with two groups of seven teams each, IND, PAK and SL should fare well. BD will not make it to the second round. In fact, they will never ever see the second round again.
Venkatpati raju format should be applied to world cricket. Everybowler should bowl like VKR and then 50over can be bowled 20-20 time. To save time fielder should be allowed outside boundry and each team can have up to 20 fielders.

The world Cup should be contested by 8 top teams only and each of the teams plays the other teams 2 times and the top 4 go to the semis and then the final.
