Yes east or best...Sachin is the best but some of Dhoni's qualities is unique and even Sachin will have to take rebirth to equal these. First of all Dhoni is the natural captain and by and far the best one day captain India has ever had. Sachin's plight as India captain is well known to everybody. Moreover, Sachin is the basically a first inning player and rarely performed in pressure situations or in big matches. Whereas Dhoni is a cool customer in pressure situation and he has shown it many times in a very short career till yet.

moreover,,,,sachin have never won any world cup and he will not be able to do it ever. Dhoni has earned India a 20-20 worldcup and he has a chance to win a world cup in his life time in one day cricket too.

You cant compare God with devotee. Sachin is sachin but even Dhoni is Dhoni. He has done a lot in indian cricket and Indians too.

Commercializing Cricket, Killing the spirit in which it was watched
by srikanth on Feb 20, 2008 08:39 PM  | Hide replies

I believe the IPL thing is a pure commercializatino of cricket. I was an ardent fan of cricket all these days but it looks like things are going to change for bad with IPL. This I believe this would lead to pride & prejudices in the Indian team, which could affect the team spirit when playing for national events.

what do you mean by commercialization? what is your definition of team spirit?
I think IPL is going to help the game.
This kind of glamor would increase its popularity and more non cricket playing countries will be attracted.
dont you think its good idea to create more jobs? dont you think the game will become more compitative?

WE ALL KNOW WHERE D MONEY COLLECTED BY BCCI (1000 CRORES) WILL GO (MOSTLY IN SHARAD PAWARS POCKET). Rightly said. I really doubt Pawar has done anything for the farmers being agri minister. I like Cricket but I really doubt this game is an over hype and other sports are deprived of basic amenities.

To get his bid price up in the IPL.
This is killing the soul of cricket.
Sharad Pawar destroys everything he touches. Look at farmer suicides in Maharashtra. He is busy with cricket!
