The team selection is good, but, I would make 1 change. I would recall Sehwag as opener once again and send Gambhir 1 down where he plays better. Sehwag will replace Raina. Sehwag has experience against Australians and can shine and if he shines, India COULD win. Not a bad gamble.

Sehwag replacing Raina?.. How can he replace someone who wasn't even there in the team?.. :-) By this logic, Sehwag won't play.... Though he should .. I agree with you on that point.

I think sreesanth is better than Munaf... he does not have any will to win and his pace goes to 120 in his second spell.i think he was lucky to get ponting the other day.
Indian cricket is on the path of destruction due to Players like Tendulkar and pepoles like you, who worships and makes them DemiGods. then these players thinks themselbves above the game and plays for personal benifits like money and creating records. Tendulkars whole 18 year long career of 413 ODI matches, 41 centuris and 16088 runs shows this. He earns crores of rupees ( more than 50 crore per year) and makes many centuries for himself. But he never able to win a WorldCup for India ( he played in 5 worldcups). His performance in important worldcup matches is pathetic. His runs and centuries are of no use.
In Test cricket also most of his Centuries he scored in the matches India either lost or drawn. Rahul Dravid has better contribution in test matches India has won.
In the test series when he scores the centuries, India lost one match and the other one is a Draw. In the 2004 series against Australia when Tendulkar scores a Double Century in the 4th test at Sydney< the match was Drawn. His Runs and centuries are useless for the team, but these are help him to earn crores of rupees personally.
players like Ganguly,dravid & Yuvaj only follows the footsteps of the most experienced player of Indian cricet team and unwilling to drop themselves when ever they are out of form.
But as for your satisfacton ,he should play. the team does not matter to you as an individual player.
Tendulkar may be able to win a world cup if he continues to play for another 20 to 25

22 yeras back we have won match in Asistralia opp Aus. Manof the match & main Scorer -Dillep Vegsarkar.
Now we won after 22 years on Feb 10 ( No win in Aus opp Aus in between) MOM- Ishant Sharma and in low scoring match (160 runs) Highest scoreer was Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar (44 runs) & then Rohit(39 Not out)

Hey Stupid,A single person can not win a world cup.Did you watch all matches of 1996 world cup.did you see semi final match against srilanka.who played all matches in that world cup.Sachin Tendulkar only.He scored more than 500 runs in that series.I am watching cricket matches from 1985.First you go see all matches from 1989 when sachin started his career.dont write stupid thoughts from your mind.If you dont like sachin then that is your wish..dont comment false statement..and dont play with sachin records.
flash sachin announced his retirement.sachin is dreaming for a unique record.he wants to open for india in ODIs alongwith his son.till that day he wont retire.no other cricketer has ever done this.
