What is your problem buddy did you lose the bidding? Tell me what is cricket then.. having 9 teams of which only 6 worth its salt to play year after year with out much point? This is a great option for Cricketers to become professionals make money not simply be at the mercy of national selectors to showcase their talent at the highest level.. This could even open doors for some exceptional talents who might be found in say Zimbabwe or who knows even Argentina (Iam not blabbering Argentina has a cricket team and is a regular participant in ICC associate tournaments). And from spectators perspective already talks about better ground conditions and better stadiums are being discussed. This is a good thing happening for cricket dont just read some stupid English commentator's views in international websites and start cribbing.. You would love it if you watch with an open-mind or you would reconcile with it by the next edition

You don't need it, don't watch it. Simple. The franchisees need them and are willing to pay for their services because they are worht their weight. Losers like you blindfolded by a false sense of patriotism can keep whining. Face it - you don't matter. They do.

IPL is here to stay. Let's have some best teams by including Auz, SL, Pak, Ind, Eng, SA & NZ players.
What an irony? IPL is busy making money while the Indian Team is falling into an endless pit unable to play 50 overs and score even 200 runs against an average Australian side as well as losing to an old and aging Sri Lanka.Is the BCCI bothered ? NO. As they are happy as long as money is coming in irrespective of the state of the National Team. IPL must succeed thats all they care about.Its high time the IPL and BCCI are seperated with distinct responsibilities. Otherwise all cricket in India and indeed around the world will get buried under the billionaire IPL.

One person cannot screw IPL. The entire country has to reject IPL to screw it. But that won't happen. So, let's enjoy the game in our leisure time rather than refreshing the score board during the work hours. Go IPL...
If you have seen the Indian performance in the past few months, one cant ignore the contribution of two unsung heroes - Venketesh Prasad and Robin Singh... Thanks to venky for the sharpness that was created to Indian bowling, and thanks to Robin for the agility of Indian fielders.. yet we go with folded hands and loads of moolah with phoren coaches (especially of the white skin types.. never ever considered the legends like aravinda desilva, or courtney walsh)..... gorahs left the indian shore decades ago.. yet the servility remains in "massi saheb's" blood lines

don't you have anything better to do?? this is a cricket board, not a site for anythng hot..!! in fact since yesterday's loss to the aussies all has turned cold..we are in a bad state of affairs..!!
not only for national cricket even for club cricket they are going for international especially oz coaches i wonder as to why our own talented veterans like jimmy amarnath sandeep patil and krish srikanth are not preferred?

the british said "indians and dogs not allowed" the current administrators say "dogs allowed, indians may be" that is the reason that in ipl everything phoren is "in" and everything indian is "out" even the half naked dancers will be from phoren...got it mate!! happy blogging..
