Bucknor is not only an umpire but also a cheap third rate servent of the whites. ICC is bringing him only to assist SA/England/Australia. He acts like a good dog to these teams. He cannot be trusted for a decent honest unbiased umpiring. I think ICC is trying to prove and show it to India that Bucknor is unstoppable. This time it is going to be Bangladesh. Let's wait and see.

SA do not need the assistance of umpires to thrash Bangladesh.
However, I am not in favour of Bucknor continuing to officiate as umpire in international matches. It is very clear that he has very poor eyesight and hearing, which are essential for being an efficient umpire at international level.
Also, though it could only be a matter of speculation and not provable, it appears from the decisions given by him over the last few years that he is somehow biased against Indians. He doesn't seem to have a balanced head to understand the critical stage in which a match is poised (like India second innings in Sydney recently) and try to be even more accurate in deciding in such situations.
He hasn't endeared himself to Indians by mimicking Dravid on the cricket field.
Come to think of it, the extremes in human approach to things are baffling, mindboggling, aren't they? On the one hand you have Simon Taufel, acknowledged as No.1 umpire, retiring from the scene at the age of 37 while on the other, Bucknor, at the age of 61, unwilling to make way for youngsters!

Dhoni has proved to the world, that he is a greatest batsman,wk and captain to the world and his Indian counterparts. He is the one who has the potential to replace Gilly in world Cricket and his knock of 88 against SL at the crucial situation has once again proved, that Yes he is the future Gilly.. It is better that Dhoni be made captain of Indian Test Team so that we can win consequetive test matches like Aussiess. Next world cup is ours under Dhoni able leadership.. Long Live Dhoni.

sameer you are right, dhoni does not perform in 25 matches and drops catches and misses stumping and once in a blue moon scores and yet guys claiming to be Indias view make him climb the coconut tree. Australins whatever arrogance they have but they always perform whereas our guys once they get their cash awards and SHABASKIS FROM THE board slum to the lowest till they get BAMBOO from the public, don't compare kal parsu ka bacha with a great performer.
