The board's in most countries have been very controlling but in Shoib's case if you are not a centrally contracted player than the player has no obligation to explain his actions to the board. Shoaib is a talent well wasted in pakistan and the IPL and local players in the IPL will greatly benefit from his presence in the tournament.

I totally agree with shoaib that he should not humiliate himself by answering the notice this time, the PCB treated him shabbily always but this time they even asked an explanation from Akhtar when they didn't had a contract with him, being strict is something which everybody will appriciate even shoaib but that doesn't necessarily means that they are going to rule the players according to their norms even if the policies implimented are not transparent,Asif received a contract though he didn't played much and showed his performance on the other hand Shoaib Akhtar is pinned even when he proved himself as a better bowler than many of the other fit bowlers,Shoaib is aware of his rights and he is quite right when he says that he should not be forced for an explanation as he is not a contracted player.
