Time to Leave
by akash on Feb 25, 2008 12:32 PM

It is time for Sachin Tendulkar to leave gracefully. He is no more an asset to the one day side. He needs to focus on tests more and keep making those hundreds and improve his statistics.
He has been a great player, but not a match winner. He can no more win matches for India and he fails when he is needed the most. The true mark of a team man is getting the team to win when the cards are down and he is not able to do that anymore.
Moreover without Ganguly at the top he is not able to provide the kind of starts India needed. Either the selectors should get Ganguly back at the top of the order or have two fearless youngsters at the top of the order. It cant get any worse anyway. They too would be able to have an opening partnership of 10-20 runs like now.

sachin is great
by ramesh kumar on Feb 21, 2008 04:17 AM

that is world known truth.
up and downs will be there for every human, finally who will be in up, he is mahan.
if any book is dedicated for cricket means every player is having an individual page.
but few players like sachin are having a seperate chapter.
i am proud to say that sachin is from my country.

Sachin Rules
by on Feb 21, 2008 01:03 AM

East or West
Sachin is still the Best....
People say he fails in finals, i ask how many finals would india have reached without Sachin...Look at the indivisual player's records in recent world cups, dat will testify sachin's contribution to indian circketing fame...
nd last Sachin is just a player, not the entire team, so keep your expectations practical...

Kudos to all statisticians!!!
by Manish Agrawal on Feb 19, 2008 03:13 PM

Reading all the gyan here makes me wonder, the futire of Indian cricket is shaky as we seem to have created more 'Harsha Bhogles' than Sachins, Sauravs, or Kapils. Any player representing any team in the world goes out and plays his best and if he fails for a long time he is chucked out of the team and replaced by other player. Thank God the players like Sachin are too busy playing cricket than to read these messages. Its more a case of envy of incompetent and worthless losers against a speacially gifted player like Sachin. He is sucessful and he make lot of money- whats wrong in it?? Its like a 100 dumb frogs pulling down a smart frog back in the well. Carry on Sachin and carry on any other successful person in India, Dont forget to wear your ear plugs, close your eyes and keep moving.

Where is your mind.... Isnt it obvious that every player plays better against minnows.. whats wrong with that... A better comparison would be Sachin's performance with all the other Indian Batsmen..(Or with all other openers from all countries)... Do that stat and you will see for yourself "HOW GREAT SACHIN IS".... Until then... SHUT THE.......

what an idiot person are u baarud, do you know what does average means? when u play 1 match against bermuda and score century u have a high average. but when u score 2000 runs against Australia in say 40 - 50 odd matches, u will have a less average.. it will be good if u dont write anything about cricket when u dont know simple things about average.when u have 40 average against Australia you know that the person is a great player. show me how many batsmen have 40 average against australia. you moron

Our young Indian Palyers all needs to learn lot things from our master.
1.How to make crores of rupees by brand endorsement deals.
2.How to fail in important matches like worldcup
3. How to make personal records without helping the team to win a single WorldCup ( Tendulkar has played in Five worldcups)
he should be retire

Yes our young Indian Palyers all needs to learn lot things from our Master Blaster
1.How to make crores of rupees by brand endorsement deals. = Do you think that the company will pay anyone (stupid people like you) crores of rupees. if you want to earn money like Sachin, become a great player like him and the money will follow you automatically.

2.How to fail in important matches like worldcup

I hope you know that cricket is a team game and not 11 people against Sachin. if he fails in important games why dont the others rise and take initiative.

3. How to make personal records without helping the team to win a single WorldCup ( Tendulkar has played in Five worldcups)
what on earth makes u feel that he is making personal record. people like you dont have a life, u guys are failure and always think negative about others success. As i said in point 2 cricket is a team game involving 11 players. why should only sachin get all the runs in any match, are the rest 11 players not paid by BCCI. they are paid equal share in the match so cant they make runs when sachin is not scoring. His presence alone makes a lot of difference in the Indian side. I really feel sorry for people like you. you should be proud that sachin plays for India.
SACHIN TENDULKAR IS THE BEST. I HOPE HE PLAYS FOR THE NEXT 18 MORE YEARS.
