good spirit
by Ishant Patnan on Feb 09, 2008 01:56 PM

One thing i did notice in yesterday's match was the good spirit between the teams. After the 'wars' between India and Australia, it was really good to see a match played in good spirit again. The match was a bit boring and SL appeared to throw away a few wickets with rash shot selection. Bracken bowled well on a pitch Ponting described as being like those in the WI for the last world cup.

I cannot beleive why the selection commitee is still depends on upul tharanga rather than replacing him with another up comming opener.if my memory is right he played only one good innings durinh his carrer to date.i think if arjuna wants to keep his good name he has to open his eyes and rectify wrong decisions taken by present selection board.today out players especialy senior batsmens played like school boys.

Srilankan batsmen to blame

Yes, Srilanka was let down by its' batsmen, chief among them was their captain Mahela, who got out to a stupid shot, which began the downslide!

You need to give your 100 % against aussies, i think sanath has to play a vital role by providing a good start, and we they need murali magic.

Sanath's consistency and Murali's chucking are the contributions for Sri Lanka's success so far. How long should this continue? Can't their younger generation emulate? Ofcourse NO CUCKING BUSINESS
