Ganguly Desrves this
by Prasad Manokaran on Feb 09, 2008 11:31 AM  | Hide replies

Ganguly was the biggest politician during his days as captain. he used to keep people who praised him and did as he said and made sure people he didnt like were kept out of the team. i accept he was a captain who brought the fighting spirit in the Indian team and India cricket saw some bright moments in his tenure, but he has no business spoiling the carreers of some deserving cricketers by keeping them out of the team jus bcoz he didnt like them.

He deserves the sacking for what he has done.

i agree with TJ totally...who actually are these moderators? I think they might be the editors from the female fashion section with a few hours on their hands. I'd prefer Steve Bucknor to at as moderator over the current bunch Rediff is using....on second thoughts, no I wouldn't.

Got to disagree with you there, my friend. I think Australia will win convincingly, but India should make it to the final.

I'm not worried by people who support their own team, we all want our team to win. The racism here is a little annoying and small minded- but it's been a fairly rancorous series, so I suppose that happens. Hope it's a good match, and good fun. Actually, I'm a little jealous of a lot of the people on this forum, because I only get to watch the text on cricinfo as I'm living in a country that follows baseball for some unfathomable reason. So I don't even get to see the best team in the world play live.

Hey TJ/Mike and my dearest asshis:
Take some real big pinches (nay fistful) of salt..
Sunday's match proved something else altogether, didn't it?.. :-)
I mean, the world champs not even standing for 50 overs was a shocker enough, but the famed pace attack not being able to kill the "weak" Indians when they were 5 down?.. totally unbelievable.. :-)
But who cares? I'm sure of your reaction.. wait till the next match, the VB series will be won by the Aussies.. etc. etc. etc..
All right, I hear you even before you speak. And to that I say, just wait, watch the matches as they are played, and enjoy!!.. :-)

Aussie Wardrobe is better

How come Aussies wear different colors ( Yellow, black, dark green) for their ODI , where as Indians are stuck with light blue. I want to see them wearing different colors too for a change.

Totally unfair, I say.. :-)
And I hope you didn't take up the idiot's invitation to go over, and experience the humiliation of seeing Aussies bowled out within 45 overs.. :-)

Hi asshis:
Couldn't answer jolly eh? what happened to 4-0 "thrashin"? and especially what happened at perth? no chin music? your chin musician tait, was mentally disintegrated by the indians.. too bad for him.
There is a difference between winning and thrashin'
The way you change predictions (after the match),even we can say .. we always say India plays good cricket.. when did we say we are going to win? especially win at all cost? :-)
Anyway, I have zero faith in your prediction.. as you are not at all qualified (got your crystal ball with you?..) so I will better wait till sunday and enjoy the match.
C'ya

2-1 is not quite 4-0.. :-)

Sunday wholloping (walloping?.. some dictionaries missing surely) never occurred.. did it?

Your "consistent" Aussies couldn't play out the 50 overs?.. unbelievable.. :-)

I'm really enjoying this verbal battle with you dude.. when Aussies got trashed, you did disappear from the forum declaring that result.. :-)

That shows your consistency.. :-)
