Who cares!

Leave the guy alone. It's his personal life - he can do whatever he wants. I'm sure everyone has skeletons in their closets, but not all scrutinized under the intense glare of the media. It's easy pass judgment when you are not the one on the other end.

Yup, I am sure you will so magnanimous and supportive if a similar fate were to befall your daughter. Or would you shout at the top of the roof and go to court? Hypocricy is a easy virtue to practice.

Naveen,

I didn't say that he should be let off if he had committed a crime. He should be punished by the letter if law if he is proven guilty of a crime. But, for other to pass judgment even before proven guilty is gross injustice. All I said was it is a personal matter and media/people have no business to rub their nose into it.

BTW, if the same thing was to happen to my daughter, I don't think I will be screaming on top of my lungs in the media. I have 2 sons anyways..:-)

Hmm, I took umbrage at "He can do whatever he wants", thinking that you meant he can do anything but no one should say anything. In any case, he is a media figure, he makes money out of the media, he got fame from media, then there is no reason why his affairs are not covered by the media. If you see my other comment, I dug up some old reports about his marriage. No one denied it when he married and was covered amidst much fanfare. Which is why I say he is just a regular Puki Liar.

Liar Liar!
by Naveen Bhatt on Feb 06, 2008 11:37 AM

This is what Tribune India says in 2005!

"However, more than his on-field performances, it is his marriage which has attracted the Indian media. Malik and Ayesha fell in love in 2000 when they first met at a hotel in Sharjah. The all-rounder made two secret trips to Hyderabad to meet her. In May, 2003, Malik called her from his hometown Sialkot and the nikah took place on the phone! It was only recently that Malik, nicknamed Moon by his team-mates for his good looks, made his marriage public", and:

"Late last month, when the Pakistan team went to Hyderabad to play against India A, Malik and the others visited his in-laws. Pakistan team manager Salim Altaf even called Malik %u201CHyderabad%u2019s son-in-law%u201D."

Hmmm, how come suddenly he has not even seen the bride? What exactly was he "seeing" during their honeymoon! Typical Paki - Liar all the way!

Suhail,

I do agree that people/media is over reacting and passing judgment before Shoaib Malik is proven guilty.

Although Joyful has written bunch of crap, he does bring up an interesting point about Islam though. If you look at other religions around the world, there is minimal interference by religion in state affairs (education, law, and government). Where as with Islam, there is no distinction between State and religion. This can create instability because, everything and anything can be justified in the name of religion.

Kishore

How do you say that, what ever i had written is Crap. Its all fact. Can you deny one word of mine. I could not see what suhail had written. But i stand by my words. They use religion for their convenience, which is not seen in other religions.

The dinner and every such thing. I work with many pakistanis here and i hate the way their attitude towards job or profession or pesrsonal life. they think they are superior to others and act menial. when i heard of shoeb maliks nikah with this gurl, i was 100% sure it will not last long.this pakis are stiff or say useless at heart for them it is a joke to make or break a heart. And only a paki women can handle them and make them lick shoes. We indian women cant do that.

Ashwin are you mad or what , read it carefully. I said pakistani women make their men lick their shoes cause these duds called pakistani men are frivolous in nature to keep flirting around even if they have good wives. so women of pak are brave to ocntrol them. you cannot expect indian women to control useless men like pakis.
