Whether picked up or not the logic holds good for Raina too. Some fools led by 11 run 1st class batting average Niru Shah, blown out of proportion pumped gas baloon Dhoni and unpredictable Pawar are ruining a winning combination. Just like Dravid, a sad exit is foreseen for blockhead Dhoni also.
If Sehwag and Tendulkar fail, then this team is so weak that probably Zimbabwe and Bangladesh will beat them quite comfortably. Look at how Tiwary and Uthappa got out. Perhaps the situation will improve a bit after Yuvraj is back. But what is the point in throwing in so many youngsters at the same time, and dropping Laxman, Dravid, and Sourav. Perhaps Vengy knows the answer.
Why is everybody blaming this team selection? It's a great team ...it is improving every day...we got to 128-6 from 74-10. Isn't that a bloody great improvement?

There was a time when we were all excited about this team winning 20-20 world cup and went on to write off the 3 seniors who volunteered to be out of the tournament. Why are we shouting now? Do we switch opinions based on short term results?
Lets groom now. Lets play practice matches, and more practice matches. Lets play young players with great running-between the wickets, and great speed of coming back to pavilion. Lets bring back Greg Chappell to helm.

MR. ROY RAINA WAS NEITHER PLAYED IN 20-20 OR TODAY'S ODI. WHY CLUB THIS 'BECHARA' WITH FAILURES OF UTHAPPA AND KARTIK? BY THE WAY HE WAS THE PLAYER IN FORM IN DOMESTIC CRICKET AND NOT UTHAPA AND TIWARI. SOMETHING FISHY?

Utapppa played very well against Aussies in some of the earlier matches. Let us wait for him to settle down in the new environment. After all this team didnt get much practice in Australia.
AS EXPECTED UTHAPPA STANDS EXPOSED. IF WE LOOK BACK HIS SELECTION FOR ENGLAND TOUR WAS BACK DOOR ENTRY MANIPULATED BY, SURPRISE, DRAVID AT THE EXPENSE OF GAMBHIR. UTHAPPA HAS VERY MEDIOCRE DOMESTIC AS WELL AS INTERNATIONAL RECORD.
UTHAPPA-First-class AVERAGE 39.96 GAMBHIR-First-class AVERAGE 53.98
Dhoni every person made wrong decision but GOD give them a chance to rectify from this wrong decision.Dhoni please call back Saurav,Rahul,Laxman in ODI.It will be a tough. They (Saurav,Laxman,Rahul) not your enemy.

Well said Rambo....Ganguly should be dropped at all costs, though unfortunately, he scored more than 1000 runs last year in ODI (imagine a player scoring that many runs past his expiry date)...really laughable comments
What else can I say. Does the powers that be know that the match is being played in present time, and not in future? And Mr. Dhoni, this is another practice, isn't it? Manoj Tiwary is a hype, can't play a straight ball.

the youngsters like Tiwari and Sharma should be give few more chances. Uttapa I am not sure . Raina should take his place. The biggest problem is our captain Dhoni. When was the last he hit a boundry. In 2007 ?

Very rational, Gautam Uthappa will not last long. His selection to last England tour was manipulated by powers that be , including Dravid at teh expense of Gambhir. Raina, the In-form batsman among Uthappa, Rohit and Manoj is being SURPRISINGLY KEPT OUT OF SQUAD.
