Some tard decided to throw an egg, big news, HUGE NEWS!!!

Here's a little taste of the Indian news, for 1 day, you know just for comparison.

Let me see what do we have here, oh here we go a nice little piece about an Australian girl living in India who was stalked, raped and murdered, shot 3 times in front of her family. The culprit killed himself afterwards, don't know why, it's India and he was the nephew of a former minister, and we all know how the youngens of ministers in India can get away with murder like it was littering. Oh look. her and her family even went to the police, they accused her of being a slut, good typical Indian stuff right there.

So how are children in India doing? Oh wow, students being gangraped by 6 teachers. Good Indian stuff right here. Lets do some quoting shall we? "The incident may cascade into a much bigger controversy as many other girls from the college have now come out and alleged that they too were frequently molested by the teachers. The teachers also asked for sexual favours, students added. Students tolerated all this because the teachers were in control of %u201Cinternal marks%u201D which could make or break a student%u2019s academic performance". Well what do ya know? That's India for ya.

Oh hey anyone got a kidney for sale? I'm sure some Indians do! Fresh cut from kidnap victims!

Dead bus drivers? No problem for India!

Oh but hey guys, Clinton said India was important, so you can all the back for being such a great people.

One word, FILTH!

by Nameless on Feb 04, 2008 08:38 PM  | Hide replies

that these convicts act self-righteously and blame Bajji as racist and implying that BCCI is using it's money power to bail him out. All westerners by nature are racists and these are the worst lot that have been deported and to expect them to be tollerant of other races is like expecting the sun rise in the west. Symonds is their mascot and they are firing from his shoulders. Precious Symonds acts wounded. Have a look at all the Aussie newspapers and they have reported this incident as bland as possible and are trying to shove it under the carpet. Symonds is a joker and Bajji has simply pulled out his mask. Saw how Sreesanth was bristling at the sight of Symonds yesterday. Had the match continued India would have given the Aussies a heavy blow which would have left them pondering what other allegations they can bring against the Indians...

Australian fans showed no let up in their hostility towards Muttiah Muralitharan and a group of fans threw an egg on the Sri Lankan spin wizard's face in Hobart.

- Muralitharan defies critics to recapture record

"An egg was thrown at Muralitharan and it struck him", a top Sri Lankan official said in Colombo adding, the authorities were looking into the incident that happened last night.

The Sri Lankans are in Australia to play a tri-nation ODI series which also involves India.

The Island Newspaper reported that Sri Lankan cricketers, including Muralitharan, were jeered and attacked by some local residents in Hobart when they were returning to their hotel after dinner last night.

"The Sri Lanka [Images] team management had then taken action to safely guide the players back to their hotel and the police arrived at the scene," the Newspaper said.

- Complete Coverage: Tour gone sour

The off spinner has had a history of hostility with the Australian spectators, who have jeered him on previous tours, forcing him to stop going Down Under for some time.

Muralitharan was no-balled by Aussie umpires and the bowler had to undergo laboratory tests to prove the legality of his bowling action.

Even if the culprits who threw rotten eggs at Muralitharan would have been caught by police, these culprits would have levelled some (false) charges against Murali in return & the aussie police would immd. summoned Murali to the police station and proceeded to file a case against Murali for causing trouble in a public place(all the time ignoring his pleas that he is innocent), and taking two witnesses from among the actual aussie culprits & imposing a small fine (with some manufactured justification like 'we know what racism is' or anything) and the aussie media going ga..ga.. over the kind heartedness of aussies , bcos he was let off only on a token fine. And the actual culprit coming out with the statement of how he is shattered by the verdict. (may be chuckling%u2026at the same time)

This is not one of the incidents in the Australia. Mr. Muralidharan is the greatest spinner of all time, no doubt about it. He is the elephant and he should not care when some Australian dogs and monkeys bark like that.

The history would never see such a ugly spectators of cricket than the Australians themselves.

One of the world's worst spectators..
by Jay on Feb 04, 2008 11:27 AM  | Hide replies

According to a Time magazine published last year the polls showed Australians as people with the worst attitude and behavior more so when foreign athletes visit and play better than their countrymen. Now we have this incident against Murali. Its very clear that the Aussies are jealous about Murali's leading 'wicket taker' crown. Such petty behavior symbolizes the entire Australian cricket team's attitude itself.

I wasn't very optimistic about Harbhajan's piousness during the 'monkey' business with Symonds but now, this latest reprieve against Murali has undoubtedly raised my concerns about the Australian team and their country's fairness. After all Australia was built by ex-convicts, prostitutes, smugglers, liberal geeks of European descent etc.

Its time the folks at the ICC do something about this. Its ok Australia are THE world champions but their behavior and their public in general don't know how to behave like champions. The manner in which Harbhajan was booed at the Gabba during the Twenty20 and 1st ODI matches was simply disturbing. Thanks to Mr. Symonds now a talented cricketer will forever carry on the mark of 'racist' on Australian soil. First it was Murali and now his fellow off-spinner Bhajji.

I bet Indians will be ready to boo Mr. Symonds when he visits India in October for the Border-Gavasker Trophy. Or perhaps it will be raining 'monkeys' from their mouths. Lets wait and see.

"After all Australia was built by ex-convicts, prostitutes, smugglers, liberal geeks of European descent etc. "

well, it wasnt entirely built of convicts and smugglers, etc. check the facts -

"Britain decided to use its new outpost as a penal colony. The First Fleet of 11 ships carried about 1500 people%u2014half of them convicts. The fleet arrived in Sydney Harbour on 26 January 1788, and it is on this day every year that Australia Day is celebrated.

About 160,000 men and women were brought to Australia as convicts from 1788 until penal transportation ended in 1868. The convicts were joined by free immigrants beginning in the early 1790s. The wool industry and the gold rushes of the 1850s provided an impetus for increasing numbers of free settlers to come to Australia."

after that its been regular immigration.

Murali is not racist. He throws rather than bowls. Difference is one cheats, one is obnoxious.

Thats my opinion. In a democracy, people can choose to express their opinions. So rather than the Oz crowd yelling racial epithets, they showed their displeasure by booing. Same reason why Sreesanth (and Andre Nel last time he was here) was booed.

So lets get this straight. You don't want the ICC to do anything about the throwing of rocks at players houses, the burning of national flags and other symbols of nationalism, the yelling of racial slurs and use of projectiles by crowds and the general harassment of players off field, but you want them to stop crowds booing.

Your funny....

U r telling a chucker to a bowler " WHO IS HIGHEST WICKET TAKER IN THE WORLD " under the specified rules of ICC.....

Exactly. While the rules of the ICC state he can bowl, nowhere in the ICC's dribble does it say that I cannot have the opinion of him being a chucker. Try flicking the ball out of the front of your hand one day without flexing your arm. Good luck. I wouldn't try the biomechanical argument on me either. Won't work.

Best bowler I ever saw was Dennis Lillee and Malcolm Marshall. Has nothing to do with wickets. Its my opinion based on 20 years of playing cricket.

And before you have a go about the quantity of my posting, see how you go without cutting and pasting brighteyes...

Many of RENOWNED Oz writers have posted many message and beautifully tried to tell very bitter things about India, Indains and even tried to provoke pakistan cricket fans against us....And even after this they feel that the mistake is done by Indian cricketers and indian fans....

I CHALLANGE ALL MY AUSTRALIAN MATES TO START HONEST DISCUSSION , I START WITH MY FIRST QUESTION....

WHO WAS THE INITIATOR OF THIS INCIDENT :- As per videos, records, channel news, newspapers...it was Symonds

My point:- He was having some bad memories of his last tour of India, but why he has not settled them before start of the India tour of australia, but he didnt do it at right time.....
But he digged history in the present tour and that was the FIRST / FOUNDATION of this bitter incident

How many of u are agree with me I AM MORE INTERESTED TO READ THOSE WHO THINK SYMONDS IS RIGHT....but its my sincere request pls post valid points and be honest

I ALSO REQUEST MY INDIAN FRIENDS PLS..PLS DONT POST ANYTHING ABUSIVE DURING THIS DISCUSSION

So my Oz mates, now the ball is in your court and your time starts....NOW

1-Conclusion is Symonds was upset and the case against Harbhajan was not related with the present series.....it was the reaction of his last india tour

2- On this ground I can say Symonds is not a MATURED cricketer....he is still stick to his street rules

3- All the doubts should be cleared and I can FIRMLY say " SYMONDS IS A IMMATURED CRICKETER " he is still giving illogical statements even after verdict has come

....waiting reactions for those who think Symonds done a good job

Easy mate. Both Symond and Harbajan have to go for behaviour clases. May be they should go for few.
In this episode Symond has lost much, and now he should wonder what was he fighting for. Harbajan should know that words used wrongly can land up in problem and get back shame. The third party in this episode who proclaim to be right on top and running the game, should know that it is just not there like a primary school monitor. It should atleast know what racil slurr is.

My dear crick fan,

Whatever may be the reason, but when u represent a country then u become the image of that country and your behavior should be changed accordingly which was not done by Symonds...I m sorry to say this but its true

He is still crying here and there against the verdict though many of us feels that the 3 match ban should be imposed on symonds

My point:- He was having some bad memories of his last tour of India, but why he has not told CA to settle them before start of the India tour of australia, but he didnt do it at right time.....rather he digged history in the present tour and that was the FIRST / FOUNDATION of this bitter incident

Austrlians started the so called sledging. Harbhajan gave the right answer and stand firm like a man in front of those four rowdy boys.

Austalian captain and australian people did notliked it. Plain simple. So they decided to frame bhajji.

Sharad,

Your not really interested in a discussion. Your just trying to prove you can argue better than an Aussie. So, touche. From the moment the incident occured, Simmos story never changed. What he said to begin with is what he said to end with and thats it. Harbi changed from I said nothing, to I said nothing racial, to I said something but it was nothing racial, it was abusive (after legal advice from the father of a BCCI board member).

So ultimately, we'll keep Simmo and you can keep Booji. At least I know who'll be available to play more often...
