Australia played with a new bunch yesterday but it was interesting to see how many games they had played before being called up. David Hussey is over 30, Voges and Nofke have been around for quite a while, Hopes has played a handful of ODI and Hodge is back in the team after a bad tour of India. The difference between the teams is that their second string players have years of experience at the first class level. They have the depth whereas our younger players are facing a baptism of fire. A better balanced team is sorely required.
This BCCI team will not win even a single match in the coming triangular tournament.Other 2 countries are playing for their Nation.They are patriotists.
The way, the players have been selected for Indian Team, is based on commission to be collected from the youngsters by the BCCI and/or selectors of India. In Australia, at lest this time, senior players should have been given a chance. As the senior players do not agree to pay commission, have not been included and it has done by a player also MSDHONI who is not at all a good batsman.
